Fall into your exile’s delirium and nightmare in Path of Exile‘s newest league. Like with the other expansions, Delirium brings new mechanics, new PoE skills, items, and PoE orbs to the fold. More than that, there will be updates to the base game as well.
Here’s a look at all the interesting bits about the expansion.
Dive into Your Nightmare
Delirium’s core mechanic is the appearance of Mirrors of Delirium. Past it, you’ll encounter the world of Delirium. A thick fog covers this world, changing the appearance and behavior of existing enemies (including bosses) and adding new ones. The farther away you get from the mirror, the harder it will be to survive. However, that’s also where the greatest rewards can be found!
It lets you control how far you want the challenge to go. There is always the option to retreat and let the fog dissipate. The Mirrors are usually near the beginning of maps, allowing you to progress throughout the entirety of it through the fog. That means that bosses will have a double dose of difficulty thrown at you. Specifically, they’re deep within the fog, and they’re unpredictable due to its influence. Story bosses aren’t exempt from this rule.
With these new mechanics, the expansion also introduces Orbs of Delirium. Use these orbs on maps to increase their difficulty. Different kinds also increase the likelihood of you obtaining certain rewards. Mix and match to balance the challenge and what you can get from it. How deep will you go in your Delirium?
Everything New in This Expansion
Other than this exciting new mechanic, there are several new additions to the game.
PoE Skills
Two new skills are introduced, but there will be four new ones at launch. Also, there will be three new support gems as well. The two introduced skills are Blade Burst and Kinetic Bolt.
Blade Burst lets you detonate blades from your skills. It pairs well with skills such as Bladefall, Blade Vortex, and Ethereal Knives. Add in a ‘Cast on…’ support gem and watch your enemies fall. Also, the expansion finally lets you cast ‘Animate Weapon’ on the same kind of blades.
Kinetic Bolt is a mesmerizing wand attack that fires a bolt that zigzags as it flies. If you pair it with Barrage Support, you can watch the bolts weave through waves of enemies in artistic patterns.
Look forward to the rest, as these are promising new additions!
Unique Items
There are two PoE uniques to come, Algor Mortis and Perfidy.
The former is a pair of Carnal Mitts. Its effects focus on inflicting the Sap ailment on enemies affected by your chilling areas. What’s more, it increases your Lightning Damage for those same enemies. It also adds 70 points to your Energy Shield, and increases the effects of non-damaging ailments.
The latter is a Glorious Plate that allows you to carry two different banners at the same time. Then it allows you to increase both of their stages by hitting enemies with melee. It has further enhancements for War and Dread Banners. Lastly, it also modifies Melee Damage and Maximum Life.
Cluster Jewels and Extending the Passive Skill Tree
This is perhaps the most interesting addition of the expansion. Enemies found in the fog of Delirium may drop these rare jewels that can expand your passive skill tree. That means more opportunities to customize your builds, and you can even chain them up to three times. Some of them will even give you a passive skill, from a pool of 280 new ones.
What’s even more interesting is that they are craftable! You can reroll the stats and modifiers of these jewels to suit your needs. Theory crafters and build enthusiasts will go crazy at all the new opportunities these jewels can provide.
A Mysterious Figure
While exploring the fog and destroying enemies, you might find some Simulacrum Splinters. Collecting 100 of these will let you open a portal to a Simulacrum. These are the endgame bosses of the league, so be prepared before you try challenging them.
They also seem to hold the mysteries of the fog. Will you brave your nightmares for victory, or fall prey to your fear before ever reaching the end?
Delirious with Excitement
The Delirium League is coming to the game on March 13th. Soon, you’ll be lost in the fog, gathering all these cool Path of Exile uniques, PoE items, and skills. As you wait until it gets released, you can continue to farm for PoE currency such as Chaos Orbs. Other than that, continue enjoying Path of Exile.
Have fun, before your nightmare awakens and delirium fills Wraeclast!
It’s debatable whether or not Fortnite is the first battle royale game. What’s uncontested is the fact that it’s the best battle royale game in existence—at least so far. The release of Epic Games’ sensational title not only reshaped what video games are supposed to be; it also gave birth to the surging esports and streaming phenomenon. While Fortnite was first announced in 2011, it wasn’t until 2017 that it first went public.
The success that Epic Games has gained with their prized release wasn’t, by any means, easy to come by though. In fact, not many gamers paid attention to the soon-to-be hit at first! But with a few tweaks, added modes, and a Fortnite item shop that re-engineered the way how microtransactions should be handled, Fortnite steadily gained popularity and soon amassed millions of fans around the world.
We’ll be taking a look at why Fortnite is arguably the best battle royale game ever made. If the game piqued your interest, then read on!
Baby Steps
Fortnite started out as a retail product and it wasn’t until the battle royale mode was added that Epic Games declared that the game was going to be free-to-play. Fortnite retailed for $40 and only had the “Save the World” mode that didn’t exactly hook the players’ interest. Not to mention that they had microtransactions stuffed to the gills which turned the players off even more. Back then, Fortnite looked like the games that would quickly be forgotten after a short burst of hype. Games are a dime a dozen after all and it’s easy to get lost within a sea of games that get released on a daily basis.
It wasn’t until PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, a battle royale game made by Korean developer Bluehole, when Epic Games tried to come up with its own version of the genre. These two games duked it out for the top spot of the genre. Whereas PUBG was a game that featured realistic graphics that seemed militaristic, Fortnite was more light-hearted, silly, and had cartoon-ey graphics. Thus, the “Save the World” mode was no longer in the spotlight, and Fortnite’s battle royale mode took on the reigns to become the game that would become a must-play for kids as well as the kids at heart.
Fortnite’s Advertising is On Point
To further make an impact on the genre, Fortnite made some keen advertising moves that were some of the best that any gaming company has made. A great example would be when they made a John Wick skin and even had the hitman’s home in Paradise Palms back in Season 9. This move promoted the movie John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum. Did we mention that Thanos was made part of the game for a short period of time as well thanks to the Avengers Endgame movie? And who could forget when Marshmello hosted an in-game concert where almost 11 million players attended? Needless to say, the advertising campaign for Fortnite is one of the best that we’ve seen so far from developers.
There’s Always Something New
The great thing about Fortnite is they always try to stay relevant. Patches and updates are normal for online games to have, but Epic Games decided to step up even further by providing weekly updates. While it can be a hassle for the players since they always have to update their game in Epic’s client, the unpredictability of what Epic brings in to the table routinely shakes up the gameplay. In some weeks, there’ll just be a new item or two that’ll be added, but there will also be some cases wherein an entire area could be added while another would be altogether removed. Besides the new skins that they consistently churn out, the lengths that Epic Games has gone through for Fortnite shows how dedicated they are to their craft—and the fans reciprocate with their loyalty.
And those are the reasons why we think that Fortnite is the best battle royale game to date! While it’s true that there are also contenders like PUBG and Apex Legends, Fortnite is the game we argue that everyone knows about. Apart from the tons of skins that the Fortnite item shop brings in, there’s a lot to like about the game! What about you? Do you consider Fortnite to be the best of its genre? Let us know your opinion by leaving a comment!
While Path of Exile: Delirium didn’t exactly make Wraeclast bigger, it definitely put new things in it—effectively changing the game forever. With the challenges it brought forth came fresh builds and ways of getting rich. Read up on what these are so that you can make the most of the league!
Crazy As It Sounds
In the POE Delirium league, exiles will find that there is a mirror of Delirium in every map. If they choose to enter it, the monsters in the area become stronger. It also causes the monsters to drop Simulacrum splinters.
Gather 300 Simulacrum splinters to form a Simulacrum, a map fragment that will open a portal that could lead to any of these six locations: Lunacy’s Watch, The Bridge Enraptured, The Syndrome Encampment, Hysteriagate, or Oriath Delusion. There, you’ll have the opportunity to get great rewards. Currently, the most sought-after are Cluster Jewels, which gives players further passive skill tree customization.
Built For the New Challenge
Aside from the enemies in PoE Delirium league being stronger than the usual ones, there are also loads of them. Unlike Metamorph league that had much focus on single-target boss killing, there’s now a return to dealing with hordes upon hordes of enemies that will Zerg rush you. This means PoE builds whose Rare and PoE Uniques are geared for multiple targets or AoE skills are making a comeback. Then again, it’s not like they ever disappeared in the first place anyway.
There are many POE build types that are specifically geared for the league that players can choose from. Most of them are Duelist ascendancy classes and Hierophants, but there are also from other classes.
More specific suggestions are as follows:
Cyclone Impale Champion – a spin-to-win melee build that deals good AoE damage on top of its survivability. A must-try for players with this particular class.
Lacerate Gladiator – another melee build, it’s as versatile as it is tough, as it’s been viable since Patch 3.8. Although it takes much time and requires Bladestorm to level up, it’s pretty much worth it once you switch to the Axe/Shield setup and get Lacerate.
Storm Brand Hierophant – an unorthodox AoE spellcaster build, it allows players to have some freedom to move and cast other spells while brands do the damage-dealing on their behalf.
Miner Builds – mechanics for mine skills fine-tuned for the better in Patch 3.9, thus renewing its popularity and viability. And in Path of Exile Delirium, it continues to enjoy the same love and efficiency. Common choices include the Ball Lightning Miner and the Toxic Rain Miner, which are either Saboteur or Trickster.
SRS Necromancer – last but definitely not least is the SRS Necromancer. While Necromancer builds are ever-popular and universal, this specific build has slightly more focus on offense than the usual balance between offense, defense, and utility.
Literally Insane Farming
Last, but definitely not least, once you have a solid build, Delirium is a great way to farm for POE Currency. They have lowered the chances of you getting killed in one shot by a monster, shortened its life, and increased the drop rate of monsters, especially when it comes to PoE orbs for your POE trade.
For farming sites, old ones like Blood Aqueduct and Harbor Bridge still work like a charm. There are also maps, which is a better way to farm PoE currency. However, they require more creativity and better gear. Maps like Beach and Glacier are the more recommended ones among the many that you can farm in.
There you have it–the Path of Exile mechanics, builds, and farming methods for Delirium. So, what are you waiting for? There’s no better time to start taking on this challenge league than right now!

A Simple Guide to WoW Classic’s Blackwing Lair Raid
Simple doesn’t mean short, though
WoW Classic’s TheBlackwing Lair has eight bosses your group will have to defeat. Each of them has mechanics and attacks to keep track of and have coinciding measures against. There’s also the ‘Suppression Room’ which was the first raid gauntlet in the history of World of Warcraft. Everything you need to do in the raid is a delicate balance requiring teamwork, coordination, and communication to get through.
The rewards are numerous, from awesome pieces of gear to some amount of WoW Classic gold. There’s also the resulting camaraderie and undeniable feeling of accomplishment in completing such a difficult raid. Without further ado, here are the bosses, and how you can deal with them.
Razorgore the Untamed
The first hurdle of the raid isn’t too hard to defeat, as long as you know what you’re doing. What your group needs to do in order is:
Take control of the orb on the left side of the room
Use mind-controlled Razorgore to destroy eggs
Then defeat him
Of course, it isn’t that simple in practice. Rush to the Orb of Domination and nuke its guardian, making it available to use. Minions appear as you try to destroy eggs, requiring the rest of the group to split into four to cover more ground. Each group must have a good distribution of off-tanks, DPS, and healers. Then, when it’s time to defeat him, ranged attackers should run and hide behind a pillar near the mind-controlled orb. That way, they get to avoid the damage from his Fireball Volley, while still staying in range.
Melee attackers and tanks need a Free Action Potion, as Razorgore will stomp and disorient players in range. If you want to keep the damage up, the potion is necessary to continue the onslaught.
It is necessary to have your main tank take control of Razorgore, as once he breaks free of the mind control, he will target whoever controlled him last. Also, have at least two tanks with the most threats on him, since he is immune to taunts. Have them build up aggro, so he won’t go out of control once a Conflagration happens.
Vaelastrasz the Corrupt
You’ll want to defeat him as fast as you possibly can. The group will not survive a war of attrition against him. It’s a good thing a buff called ‘Essence of the Red’ applies to everybody in the room once the fight starts. The benefit it gives is unlimited resources. Spam all of your max level spell and abilities to defeat him as fast as possible.
The reason for that is the other buff that will apply to only one character, Burning Adrenaline. While it doubles the damage dealt and negates cast time, it reduces health every second until death. Upon death, they explode, dealing massive damage to whoever’s nearby. Anyone who gets it should still deal as much damage (or healing) as they can while moving away from the others. If you take too long, your main tank will get it, and they will die no matter what.
Since the boss is also immune to taunts, you need an off-tank to keep control of him. Fury Warriors‘ Heroic Strike is good for this if they’re the off-tank. Others with the same class should use Cleave instead to keep their threat down. At any rate, if the whole group has high enough DPS, Vaelastrasz should go down pretty quickly.
Broodlord Lashlayer
Broodlord Lashlayer waits at the end of the Suppression Room, which you’ll have to get through to fight him. Getting through the room is a dance of kiting and defeating Hatchers and Taskmasters, disabling pylons, and running to the next safe spot. It’s more complicated than that, but it’ll take too long to describe here.
Fighting the boss, everybody should be positioned with their backs against the wall, even the boss. That way, when he uses Blast Wave, nobody gets flying back into the Suppression Room. The other mechanic to watch out for is Knock Away, which targets your tank and reduces their threat by half. Again, off-tanks should have the second or third most threat. Keep the tanks alive and threatening, sustain the DPS, and you should have no trouble defeating him.
Firemaw, Ebonroc, and Flamegor
These three drakes have similar mechanics, though they have a different third mechanic. All three of them can cast Shadowflame, so an Onyxia Scale Cloak is required for these bosses. They also have the Wing Buffet ability, which reduces threat on your tanks.
Firemaw has the Flame Buffet ability, which casts a stacking debuff on whoever gets hit. Ebonroc gets the Shadow of Ebonroc ability that casts a rather un-dispellable debuff on your tank. The debuff heals him for 25,000 points for every melee hit. Flamegor has the Fire Nova ability, which can be interrupted by a hunter’s Tranquilizing Shot.
So, the scale cloak counters Shadowflame and having tanks time their taunts counters Wing Buffet. For Flame Buffet, have two cycling groups for everybody. As one group hides to wait out the debuff, the other goes in range to fight or heal. The drakes are taunt-able, so you can have your main tank hide to wait out the debuff while an off-tank taunts him.
The strategy for Ebonroc’s unique ability is to have an off-tank taunt him if the debuff lands on the main tank. The main can then taunt him back if the off gets it. The tactic for Flamegor is to have hunters interrupt his Fire Novas.
There is a position that lets healers be in the line of sight of the tanks yet hidden to avoid getting Flame Buffet stacks. If your group finds it, healers don’t have to move to do their job.
Chromaggus
As befitting the second to the last boss of the raid, Chromaggus has many mechanics your group has to manage and counter. First are his breath attacks. He has five, though he can only use two breaths for every instance of the raid.
They are:
Incinerate: deals high fire damage in a cone in front of him
Corrosive acid: inflicts a damage over time debuff and reduces armor for its duration
Frost Burn: deals low frost damage and reduces attack speed for a short time
Ignite Flesh: similar to Incinerate, but has lower damage that can stack
Time Lapse: Stuns targets for 6 seconds, leaving half their health and reducing threat permanently
They’re also color-coded as red, green, blue, black, and bronze in the same order. He’ll let out a breath every 30 seconds, so with about 5 to 10 seconds left of the cast, everyone should run and hide. The main tank should backpedal to keep aggro yet avoid the breath, and healers should keep healing them.
When you read through these breaths, you’ll notice that the last one is something you don’t want to get as a mechanic in your raid. Have potentially four back-up tanks to keep the aggro off of the squishier characters if you ever get it. Switch up the tanks and carefully manage threat so everyone can do their jobs.
The second mechanic to look out for is his debuffs. There are also five and they’re color-coded as well.
Brood Affliction Red deals fire damage every 3 seconds and heals Chromaggus if the character dies from it
Brood Affliction Green reduces healing by half and deals nature damage every 5 seconds
Brood Affliction Blue slows movement and casting speed, and drains health and mana
Brood Affliction Black doubles fire damage received
Brood Affliction Bronze stuns the afflicted every 4 seconds and can only be removed by using Hourglass Sand
Dispel the afflictions constantly. Since the debuffs are all different types, any class with a dispelling ability should use whatever they have. Anyone who gets all five gets morphed into a hostile Drakonid that can wipe the whole party. The morphed character can be killed, but the act will also heal the boss.
The next mechanic is frenzy. Emotes alert you of when he’ll start it, which is when hunters should use Tranquilizing Shot to stop. Have 3 or 4 hunters on that duty, as the bronze affliction’s stun might take effect at that moment.
The last is Chromaggus’ magic vulnerability. Throughout the fight, he’ll shimmer, and the chat would say “Chromaggus flinches as its skin shimmers”. After the emote, he’ll become intensely vulnerable to a certain school of magic. Magic classes should find out what it is, and use that school of magic for their next spells. Because of the vulnerability, even weaker spells deal good enough damage. In a situation where they don’t have that kind of spell, a wand that deals that kind of damage will do.
Keep all of these in mind while dealing damage, and defeat Chromaggus!
Nefarian, the Lord of Blackwing Lair
Now, you’re up against the final boss of the raid. Before you’re able to, you’ll have to defeat his minions first. They’ll come from two sides, and you can split your group to deal with them both. Mages can make up one group, as one side will have frost resistant dragon and worm kin. Have the rest of the DPS handle those, and have the mages handle the other side.
At some point, Nefarian will come down in his human form and cast Shadow Volleys. Drink a Shadow Protection Potion to counter those, and continue defeating the minions.
Soon, he’ll turn into his dragon form and the real fight begins. Wearing the Onyxia Scale Cloak will take care of the brunt of his version of Shadow Flame. Again, tanks have to keep aggro and keep to his sides. Position him facing the far end of the balcony. He inflicts a debuff on whoever’s closest which reduces healing. Dispel it immediately if on the tank. He can also cast fear in a circle around him, so Fearwards, Tremor Totems, or changing stances are important in the fight.
His most annoying ability is the Class Call. It has different effects depending on which class is called, and everybody must be prepared to deal with them when they come.
Here are the actions classes should do when their call arrives:
Druids should stay back
Hunters should switch or unequip their weapons
Mages can cast Ice Block, or Priests and Paladins have to be on the ball to dispel polymorphed allies
For Paladins’ call, everybody should stop attacks, as no threat will be generated at the time. If it is well established, cast Judgement of Wisdom on him and magic users can attack him with wands
Priests must stop healing with direct spells. They may use Renew and Power Word: Shield.
As for Rogues’ call, tanks should carefully reposition the boss to avoid the annihilation of the group’s Rogues
When Shamans’ call comes, have all DPS be on totem killing duty. Shamans should wait until the call ends to regenerate mana
Kill the Corrupted Infernals that will appear during Warlocks’ call
Everybody should watch their threat and healers intensify their healing on the tanks for the Warrior Call. When it’s over Warriors can go back to the stance they want
At 20% health, Nefarian will raise the minions you defeated at the beginning as Bone Constructs. Defeat them while managing the calls and debuffs. Alliance groups will have a bit of advantage as the constructs are considered undead. They’ll go down easily with enough preparation. When they’re done, everybody can go back for one final push to defeating Nefarian!
With that, your group has finished the raid. Enjoy the sweet loot and WoW Classic gold as rewards. Preparation is key, so make sure you know what you’re supposed to be doing. Don’t forget to have fun while doing the raid!
Old School Runescape (OSRS) mobile has introduced a brand new audience to the wonderful world of Gielinor. Because of the new platform switch, there may be players who have run into issues while playing the game. One issue, in particular, revolves around the resolution of the handheld device. With that in mind, here is a short guide to help you make the most of your experience on OSRS Mobile. Pay close attention and you will be slaying demons and racking up all the OSRS Gold you can get your hands on in no time at all!
Performance Fixes
If your game is running low on performance, then there are a few ways for you to rectify it. Some of these methods may sound utterly simplistic at first glance, but they are tried-and-tested ways of fixing key performance issues.
The first fix is a classic that many of will most likely have already tried when it comes to technology in general. This method involves turning your device on and off again. This technique may be greeted with a pained groan but it can actually help with your resolution. This is because it can help your device with slow data speeds, so it is definitely worth trying straight off the bat.
Another issue revolves around data and storage. Both of these need to be able to cater to your particular device. With that being said you need to make sure that your platform has enough storage space. Without the correct storage space, your game may lag midway. Even though the app itself clocks in at just under 100mb, the numbers can increase following updates. As far as data goes, you should try to find a WiFi connection wherever possible. OSRS Mobile uses up to 2mb of data on average per hour, so connecting to WiFi could help your performance woes and save the amount of data you are using.
Tablets vs. Mobile
When OSRS was announced for mobile platforms, it raised a lot of questions. One of those being what devices we would be able to use them on. Given that the game is over a decade-and-a-half old, many assumed it would run on any handheld device. This yet is not strictly true.
OSRS Mobile, as the name suggests, is focused on the mobile experience. When it comes to tablets, it may run into some issues where performance is concerned. That isn’t to say that it won’t run smoothly on a tablet, but there will be certain devices that it may not be streamlined enough on. For the time being, you should focus on keeping OSRS on your mobile and research if your tablet is capable of running it without issue.
Battery Performance
Battery life is something else you’ll need to keep an eye on to get the most out of your OSRS Mobile experience. This is something that the developers have outlined when it comes to the performance of the game on mobile. So there are a few settings you can tinker with to make the most of OSRS Mobile.
Firstly, you can increase the game’s runtime by reducing the brightness on your phone. It would also help your battery life, and game performance if you close any background apps you have running. If your resolution is suffering too, then try to avoid areas where you will find a lot of other players. This will also help your battery life from draining too much. Finally, you can also alter your FPS settings within the game. You can find this under Mobile Options where you will see a bar that says Limit FPS. You could choose to lower this to help your battery life and the performance of the game.
These few tips should help you with your resolution on OSRS Mobile. Many will have come across issues such as lagging, and battery performance. Others may have noticed screen res lowering throughout their experience with the popular handheld MMO. Now that you have a better idea of how the resolution can be optimized, you are ready to run the game. So get out there, traverse dungeons, and shower yourself in gp! Maybe you’ll earn so much you can sell it on an OSRS Gold Sell Site.
Epic Games has unleashed Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 upon the gaming public, and with it are a whole bunch of new features for players to enjoy. With the new update inevitably come new Fortnite items, new locations, factions, weapons, and even the introduction of Deadpool. However, there is a variety of new gameplay changes that you should know about in the battle royale title. Patch notes are no longer released by the developers for Fortnite Battle Royale, though several changes have been published to bring players up to speed with what’s new.
What’s New in Season 2
In Chapter 2 Season 2, there have been a lot of new additions. Everything from Fortnite skins to new areas have been added, with the latter featuring NPCs that will need to be defeated before you can take their prized weapons. Teleportation seems to be a neat new feature too, as you can use toilets and dumpsters to navigate your way around the island. There’s new gameplay mechanics of interest as well, such as the ability to sneak around the map in a cardboard box, and you can now also share your healing items by throwing them to fellow players. So, if you have any shields or medkits handy, be sure to do so when needed.
Vaulted/Unvaulted Weapons
Another major change in this season is the weapons that have been brought back from the vault, and those that have been vaulted as a consequence. Players who like to take a stealthy approach will be delighted to hear that most suppressed weapons have been brought back, as well as remote explosives and the mini-gun. However, damage traps have now been vaulted until further notice, much to the dismay of the player base. Joining them will be the bolt action sniper and the P90.
Changes in Gameplay
On top of the fresh content, there are a number of new gameplay changes in Fortnite Battle Royale. Five new points of interest have been added, including the Shark, the Yacht, the Grotto, the Agency, and the Rig. At each of these locations, you will find NPCs that will drop Mythic items upon defeat.
Key cards have also been added, which will help you locate vaults that house several crates. You can also use ID Scan to open certain crates if you choose to. Another change worth noting is that upgrading weapons now takes longer, so keep this in mind to manage your time better.
Bug Fixes
Naturally, it can’t all be about the excitement of fresh new content for the battle royale title. It may be the less glamorous side of Fortnite news, but there are some bug fixes that will be of interest. The developers have implemented a fix in which there had been issues with selecting friends and scrolling. Players also noted that they were getting stuck on the loading screen after accepting invites. Meanwhile, others had been unable to select traps when prompted to do so while using a controller.
The Battle Royale mode seemed to bear the brunt of the issues, where there was a fault in which players saw a blank controller set up when choosing controller settings. Other issues included a message stating that players could not join a party when they could actually do so, and being unable to move after emoting.
There is an air of sheer excitement surrounding Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2. With a wealth of new Fortnite items, locations, factions and more being added, there‘s plenty for players to be getting on with. Not only that, but there is also a lot to look forward to in the coming weeks. There are Deadpool challenges still to run, as well as the reveal of the impact of the new Agent factions, and how they will ultimately shape the future of the game. That’s what it appears the game is working towards at the moment if the section of the lobby that states ‘Coming Soon’ is anything to go by. In the meantime, we can enjoy the new content, browse the Fortnite item shop, and dive into battle to see what Fortnite still has to offer!

Chapter 2: Season 2 of Fortnite finally landed just as February is about to close. Season 1 was a bit of a drag, especially for players who game on Battle Royale Fortnite daily. It was hard to say what Epic Games had in store for us, but now that the cat’s finally out of the bag, we can dive straight into the goods. So what’s the theme for this new season? Will there be any changes in the map and added Fortnite items that can alter the way we play the game? Find out the answer to those questions and so much more!
New Seasons Means New Skins
Every new season in Epic Games Fortnite comes with high-quality Fortnite skins and new emotes that players can flaunt whenever they gain a victory. It’s only the start of Chapter 2: Season 2, so only a limited number of skins have currently been announced—but there should be more to follow during mid-season and some surprise twists that weren’t expected. Currently, here’s the line-up of skins that you can get through the Battle Pass immediately and/or by grinding until you’ve reached a certain level in the pass:
Gears Specialist Maya
Agent Peely
Meowscles
TNTina
Brutus
Skye
Midas
Deadpool
You can also earn the gold variants for these skins by leveling up while the season is still ongoing. Here are the levels that you need to reach before the season ends to acquire the skins:
Skin
Level That You Need
Brutus (gold variant)
Level 140
Meowscles (gold variant)
Level 180
TNTina (gold variant)
Level 220
Skye (gold variant)
Level 260
Agent Peely (gold variant)
Level 300
There are also back blings that you can collect should you purchase the Battle Pass. These accessories go together with the designated skins that we’ve just discussed. For example, the Banana Briefcase accessory goes well with Agent Peely. While the Feline Pack is meant for Meowscles. However, you don’t really have automatically pair these backpacks to the skins that they’re meant to go with. If you’d rather mix and match to create your own style, the option is also available.
What’s The Theme for This Season?
The theme for Fortnite Chapter 2: Season 2 revolves around spies, secret agents, and being able to create your own narrative with the choices that you make. The interface of the battle pass has been revamped into a headquarters for spies, with the background music sounding like something that came out of a James Bond movie.
During the introduction of the new season, you’ll be given a choice between the two competing factions to join:Ghost and Shadow. Whichever faction you choose will ultimately set the tone for the rest of the game as you’ll get to unlock different variants of the Battle Pass skins that we mentioned. Another highlight of Season 2 is that you can battle bosses within the game. Raiding some of the spy headquarters that can be found all around the map can reward you with the best weapons that the game can offer.
What We Didn’t Expect
If there’s one thing that we didn’t expect, it’s the collaboration between Fortnite and Marvel. Granted Epic Games has already teamed up with them in the past, specifically during the launch of the movie “Avengers: Endgame”.
