World of Warcraft Complete Beginner Guide 2026 For Returning & New Players | Midnight

World of Warcraft Complete Beginner Guide 2026 For Returning & New Players | Midnight

Stepping back into Azeroth after a long hiatus—or entering its vast world for the very first time—can feel incredibly overwhelming. With the launch of the Midnight expansion, Blizzard has fundamentally restructured the leveling experience, redesigned class archetypes, and introduced highly requested features like Player Housing.

To save you from the typical trial-and-error, our team of veteran MMO theorycrafters spent dozens of hours testing the live build of Midnight. This guide provides our hands-on, step-by-step roadmap to help you set up your game, level efficiently from 1 to 90, and dive straight into the endgame.

1. Retail vs. Classic: Which Version is Right for You?

Before launching the battle.net client, you must decide which version of the game to play. In 2026, the player base is split between modern Retail and various Classic progression servers.

FeatureWoW Retail (Midnight)WoW Classic
Level CapLevel 90Varies by era (60, 70, or 80)
Combat PacingFast, highly mobile, complex rotationsSlow, strategic, resource-heavy
Solo ViabilityHigh (Delves, Story Mode Raids)Moderate to Low (Group dependent)
OnboardingStreamlined tutorial (Exile’s Reach)Open-world, trial-by-fire
Newest SystemsPlayer Housing, WarbandsEra-specific nostalgic loops

Our Recommendation: If you want fluid combat, modern quality-of-life features, and a thriving community with minimal “gatekeeping,” play Retail (Midnight). It is by far the most welcoming version for newcomers and returning players alike.

2. Pre-Game Checklist: Essential Settings to Enable

One of the biggest mistakes we see returning players make is diving in with default UI settings. WoW’s interface is highly modular, and making a few quick adjustments in your game menu will immediately improve your gameplay loop.

1.Pick a High-Population Server:Realm Selection.

Navigate to the realm selection screen and sort by population. We strongly advise choosing a High or Full population server in your local timezone. This guarantees a stable, active economy and plenty of active guilds to help you learn.

2.Enable Auto Loot:Controls Menu.

Press ESC to open your Options menu, search for Auto Loot, and check the box. In our testing, this simple change saves hours of leveling time by automatically gathering gold and quest items the second you right-click a fallen enemy.

3.Activate Extra Action Bars:UI Customization.

In the game menu, click Edit Mode. Here, you can drag and resize any element on your screen. Be sure to check the boxes to enable Action Bars 2, 3, and 4. You will need this extra screen real estate to hold your mounting, healing, and damage spells as you scale toward level 90.

4.Disable Guild Invites (Optional):Social Settings.

If you do not want to be spammed by automated guild recruitment bots the moment you log in, go to the Social tab in options and check Block Guild Invites until you are ready to seek out a curated group of players.

3. The 1–90 Leveling Roadmap

The modern leveling process is incredibly fast. During our testing, a fresh character took roughly 11 to 14 hours of casual play to reach the level 90 cap. Here is the path we recommend taking:

Phase 1: Levels 1–10 (Exile’s Reach)

Every new character should start on Exile’s Reach, a beautifully designed tutorial island that teaches you your class’s fundamental mechanics, resource management, and basic dungeon structures.

Phase 2: Levels 10–70 (Chromie Time)

Once you arrive in your faction’s capital city (Stormwind or Orgrimmar), we recommend visiting the NPC Chromie (located near the embassies). She allows you to select any previous expansion to scale with your character.

  • Our Pick: Choose the Dragonflight expansion campaign. It is incredibly fluid, teaches you how to master Skyriding (advanced active flight) at level 10, and features highly clustered quest hubs that minimize travel downtime.

The Dalaran Hearthstone Trick: To make global travel easier, start the brief introductory quest line for the Legion expansion. This awards you a secondary Hearthstone that instantly teleports you to the city of Dalaran. From Dalaran, you can access direct portals to both Orgrimmar and Stormwind, giving you a quick travel escape hatch with a low cooldown.

Phase 3: Levels 70–90 (The Midnight Campaign)

Upon reaching level 70, you will automatically receive the introductory quest to head to the redesigned kingdom of Quel’Thalas. Focus purely on the main campaign quests (marked with a distinct bordered exclamation point) to unlock all the major new features of the expansion.

4. Modern Game-Changers: Warbands & Player Housing

If you haven’t logged into WoW in several years, Midnight features two incredibly massive systemic overhauls that make the game feel entirely fresh.

Warbands: Alt-Friendly Integration

In the past, playing an alternate character (“alt”) meant repeating massive reputation grinds, re-earning achievements, and starting from scratch. Now, your entire roster of characters is united under a single Warband.

  • They share a unified bank tab, making gold and material sharing instantaneous.
  • Reputations and achievement tracks are completely account-wide.
  • High-tier gear can drop as “Warbound until Equipped”, allowing you to mail epic drops from your main character directly to a leveling alt.

Player Housing: Build Your Sanctuary

After more than two decades, true Player Housing has arrived. We tested the system extensively at launch, and here is how it works:

  • The Unlock: Upon arriving in the expansion’s main hub, you will receive the quest “A House For You.” The quest line takes roughly 15 minutes to complete.
  • The Location: You can claim a personal plot in dedicated instanced neighborhoods: Founder’s Point for the Alliance or Razorwind Shores for the Horde.
  • The Cost: Claiming your starter plot costs a flat 1,000 gold, with absolutely zero weekly or monthly upkeep taxes.
  • Customization: Furniture and decorations can be crafted via professions, purchased from faction vendors, or collected as rare drops from raid bosses and dungeons.

5. Navigating the Midnight Endgame

Once you hit level 90, the core loop of World of Warcraft shifts from leveling to character progression and gearing.

Hero Talents

At level 71, you unlock Hero Talents—a highly distinct talent tree built between your class and specialization. In our testing, these don’t just add passive damage; they fundamentally alter your class fantasy, offering visually striking spells and altered mechanical interactions.

  • The star of the expansion is the new Devourer Demon Hunter, which shifts the traditionally melee class into a highly mobile, mid-range caster that utilizes void energies to decimate foes from 25 yards away.

Delves: Perfect for Solo Players

If you do not have the time or desire to commit to a strict 20-person guild schedule, Delves are your primary gearing path. These are 10-to-20-minute, role-neutral scenarios that you can complete solo (alongside a customizable NPC companion) or in small groups of up to five friends. Clearing high-tier Delves rewards gear that is fully equivalent to Heroic-level raid drops.

Best Crew Skills in SWTOR: 2026 Endgame Crafting Guide

Min-maxing a Level 80 character for Master Mode Operations or high-tier PvP requires looking beyond basic gear drops. While completing weekly missions on planets like Ruhnuk or Kessan’s Landing and running the R-4 Anomaly will yield baseline gear, achieving true stat optimization relies heavily on the Crew Skills ecosystem.

Whether your goal is to self-sustain through reusable consumables or corner the market on the Galactic Trade Network (GTN), optimizing your companion tasks is essential. This guide breaks down the current crafting meta and the economic realities of funding high-end production.

The Best Crew Skills in SWTOR for Endgame Production

In the current endgame ecosystem, crafting is heavily centered around two elements: reusable combat utility and Augment optimization. A character can select one primary Crafting skill paired with two complementary Gathering or Mission skills.

1. Biochem (The Raider’s Necessity)

Biochem remains a critical choice for active endgame raiders. Reaching Biochem level 700 grants access to Medpacs, Stims, and Adrenals.

  • The Min-Max Benefit: These items provide significant stat boosts (such as Mastery, Critical, or Absorb) and are never consumed upon use.
  • Economic Impact: While the initial investment to craft these items is high, saving millions of credits on consumable expenses during progression raiding makes Biochem highly cost-effective over time.

2. Synthweaving & Armormech (The Stat Boosters)

These armor-crafting disciplines are crucial for producing Augments and Augment Kits (MK-11). Augments provide the final layer of customizable stats needed to reach strict tertiary stat thresholds, such as the 1.4-second or 1.3-second Alacrity GCD (Global Cooldown) tiers.

  • Synthweaving: Focuses on Critical, Alacrity, and Redoubt Augments.
  • Armormech: Focuses on Accuracy, Shield, and Absorb Augments.

3. Cybertech & Artifice (The Utility & Market Drivers)

  • Cybertech: Essential for crafting tactical components, spaceships upgrades, and specialized grenades used to control crowds in PvP brackets.
  • Artifice: Primarily drives the cosmetic and modification economy, producing high-demand color crystals, dye modules, and Relics.

The True Cost of Endgame Crafting

Transitioning from a casual crafter to a Master Crafter requires significant capital. The profitability and efficiency of the crafting loop are governed by Companion Influence Level.

The Companion Influence Bottleneck

To maximize production yields, crafting tasks should only be assigned to companions at Influence Level 50.

Level 50 Companion Benefits:

└── +75% Crafting Speed Efficiency

└── +25% Critical Crafting Chance

A critical success during crafting yields double the items for gathering/mission skills, or adds an augmented slot/extra item for crafting skills. Maxing out a companion’s influence requires thousands of premium companion gifts or a Commander’s Compendium (which costs 3 Dark Projects and 4.25 million credits, or 250 Cartel Market Coins). Scaling an entire crew roster of alts to this level requires an investment of tens of millions of credits before production even begins.

High-Tier Material Acquisition

Crafting superior items requires rare materials that cannot be obtained through standard gathering nodes:

  • OEM-37 and ODM-38 Matrices: These essential components are required for top-tier item modifications and Augments. They are acquired by trading Tech Fragments gained from completing Veteran and Master Mode Flashpoints, Daily Areas, and Operations.
  • The Extraction Choice: Crafters must choose between spending hours grinding activities to accumulate Tech Fragments or purchasing raw components directly from other players on the hyper-inflated GTN.

GTN Funding & Material Strategies

For players who prefer to avoid the complexities of crafting management, the most direct path to wealth is focusing entirely on raw material liquidity.

The Triple-Gathering Yield Strategy

Dropping crafting disciplines entirely to pick up Scavenging, Archaeology, and Slicing allows players to accumulate wealth with low financial risk.

  • Slicing: Lockboxes found throughout high-level daily zones provide direct credit yields, while Slicing missions offer purple-tier tech parts required by Cybertech professionals.
  • Node Farming: Selling raw Grade 11 materials directly on the GTN capitalizes on Master Crafters who prefer purchasing resources in bulk over gathering them manually.

Managing Crafting Alts (The Legacy Loop)

Because Crew Skill unlocks and Companion Influence levels are character-specific, efficient players distribute production across a Legacy Alt Network. By designating one character as a dedicated Biochemist, another as a Synthweaver, and utilizing low-level characters strictly for resource gathering, players can optimize their crafting process while keeping their main characters geared and ready for endgame content.

Runescape 3 – How to Get Mining to 99/120

Runescape 3 – How to Get Mining to 99/120

Here’s what you need to do in order to get your Mining skill up to 99.

If you have been looking for ways to get your Mining skill up to 99 in Runescape, then we have you covered. You’re going to need a great pickaxe and an urn in preparation. These are the Runescape items that you should take with you if you’re going to get the most out of this technique. Skills are great ways to earn Runescape gold and experience, and Mining is up there with the past of them when used in the right way. So here’s how to level up your Mining skill.

Level 1-10

When you are in the first 10 levels, you’ll want to start out by mining either tin or copper. This will bag you at 5,000 experiences on an hourly basis. This is your best option at this early stage, and you can do so over at the Burthorpe mine. Alternatively, you can try the mining site to the southeast of Varrock or Lumbridge Swamp. It should only take you less than an hour to reach level 10, just make sure you don’t bother with clay and go for the best ore.

Level 11-20

Once at level 11, you can earn 15,000 XP per hour by going with iron ore. Go to the mining sites at south-west Varrock or south-west Lumbridge Swamp. Keep an eye on your stamina at this point, and make sure that you’re not going AFK. This will be detrimental to your experience, as will not use your urn so be sure that you are using it. You are going to see just how beneficial this is even at these early stages.

Level 21-30

Go over to the Falador mining site, or the Barbarian Village site to mine coal rocks. You can also go to the southwest Lumbridge Swamp. Here you can expect to get around 25,000 XP per hour. So fill up your urns and head back to get your experience. Rinse and repeat the process and you will be at level 30 in no time.

Level 31-40

We’re moving onto other ores now. There are the Karmaja Volcano or south-west Varrock mining sites for this one. Go for mithril ore rocks and you will get around 40,000 experience every hour.

Level 41-50

The main ore for this stage is Adamantite. You can find this at south-east Varrock’s mining site, as well as the sites in Rimmingtone and the Anachronia western ruin mine. Luminite is also a good choice here, which you can locate on the Battlefield mining area, as well as the previously mentioned Anachronia mine and the Mining Guild resource dungeon. You can also check out the Dwarven mine for this too. Doing so will get you 45,000 XP per hour.

Level 51-60

You are going to need strength at this point as you are getting to where F2P training peaks. Here, runite ore rocks grant you 60,000 experiences every hour. Go to the Mining Guild, the Crandor mining site to the north, the Fight Arena and the southern Crandor site too.

Level 61-75

You’ll be able to earn 70,000 XP per hour mining either drakolith or orchalcite. The Mining Guild is where you will want to go, or at the Wilderness mining site to the south-west for orchalchite. For drakolith, you can go to the resource dungeon in the Mining Guild or Al Kharid, as well as the Heroes’ Guild and Karamja mining site.

Level 75-81

Going through the next six levels we will be focusing on either phasmatite or necrite. These aren’t amongst the RS3 discontinued items, they are in fact ore rocks that can earn you around 85,000 XP per hour. The latter is found in the Al Kharid mining site resource dungeon or the Uzer mining site, so whichever you want to go to. Otherwise, the phasmatite is in the Abandoned Mine, the Dwarven Mine, and to the south of Port Phasmatys. You can earn up to 85,000 experience per hour by doing this.

Level 82-89

Go to Abomination Cave, Jatizso Dungeon or Glacor Cave. Here you’ll be able to mine banite that will offer hourly rates of 110,000 XP. You can do this once you have finished the Ritual of Mahjarrat or Hero’s Welcome quests, as well as completing the Fremennik achievements too.

Level 90+

Finish the Plague’s End quest then go for corrupted ore by the Seren Stones. You could opt for light or dark Animica in the Lletya mining site. The former will net you around 180,000 experiences per hour. Once you’re at around 97, you can go to Alaea Crablets to get the sea salt they drop. Sell it for supplies to get RS3 gold and you’ll be ready to gear up and carry on.

WoW TBC Paladin Leveling Tips

WoW TBC Paladin Leveling Tips

There are some choices you can make to help level your Paladin.

Every class in WoW TBC has it’s own advantages, though the way they level can differ with the right knowledge. Whether you have to buy TBC gold or grind through The Burning Crusade power levelling, you could still benefit knowing some facts about the class you’re using. In this instance, we’ll be looking at some tips for those playing as the Paladin.

About The Paladin

We feel that honesty is the best policy, and when it comes to Paladins, they aren’t exactly the quickest for you to get through TBC power levelling with. It isn’t as fast as other classes because of the pace in which they kill mobs. That said, they more than make up for it with their defences. They’re able to wear high defence armor and heal themselves efficiently. They are also very useful at keeping your health and mana in check, and don’t have too much downtime.

Choosing Your Specs

Having the best character as a Paladin isn’t always determined by the amount of TBC Classic gold you have or the TBC items you find. Having the right spec is going to go a long way. In the case of the Paladin, you should focus on Retribution. This is going to help you immensely when levelling up solo. This spec will let you help up as fast as possible with the Paladin when playing alone. This is down to the additional damage traits that you get from the talents you find on the Retribution tree. For the fastest levelling solo spec, be sure to go with Retribution.

Alternatively, if you are going to go down the route of levelling with others, then try Holy, This gives some of the best healing for single targets that WoW TBC has to offer. The talent point you get can then go towards improving the blessing spells you’re using. If you’re in the tank role, then using Protection will be helpful. It might not be the best choice compared to Retribution in terms of the speed it kills at, but it can be used both solo and in a group effectively.

Abilities

Paladins rely on buffs and such where their abilities are concerned. Their DPS rotation is much more limited, and when taking both of these into account, you can surpass abilities more often than other classes can. Having a mount is a goal for many players, and Paladins can save their TBC gold since they get their own mount for practically no charge. Without having to spend your WoW TBC gold on a mount, you can spend more on upgrading your character. Not having to fork out for a mount is really going to help your TBC gold in the long run. Keep your ranks up for your abilities too, since you’ll then be able to level up much easier.

Paladin Levelling Tips

Now that we’re a bit more familiar with the class, we can take a look at what levelling tips the Paladin has. Firstly, ensure that you have a blessing active. This should be at all times, with a rnage of choices to go with. The Blessing of Might for example will help you to increase the rate of kills that you have with the Paladin. You could also reduce the abilities used in every mob takedown.

Not only should you have blessings active at all times, but have a seal buff as well. An aura buff will be important when it comes to levelling. Should you be struggling to find a buff that’s right for you, try considering the form of damage that you are taking at the time. Mobs can be troublesome for inflicting physical damage on you, and the likes of Devotion Aura can be effective here.

The approach that you should take as a Paladin is to be attacking automatically. Since Paladins’ damage mainly comes from physical damage, your goal will be to keep your mana up and use the time that you have to your advantage.

You won’t have to looking into going to buy WoW TBC accounts for a Paladin if you’re following these methods. It’s an option if you want to get ahead of the game, but the levelling process is very steady as this class. It might not be as quick as other classes, simply due to the speed of dealing with mobs. But it does have a number of positive traits that will be very useful in both solo and group approaches. With that in mind, be sure to make the most of your experience when playing as a Paladin.

World of Warcraft – How Does Jewelcrafting Work?

World of Warcraft – How Does Jewelcrafting Work?

There’s so many aspects to World of Warcraft, and here’s how jewelcrafting helps.

There are many professions for you to pursue when playing World of Warcraft, some of which are more beneficial than others. Before you decide to buy WoW gold, here is how you can benefit from the art of jewelcrafting.

What is Jewelcrafting?

In world of Warcraft, Jewelcrafting is a profession that was brought in as part of The Burning Crusade expansion. You can use this profession to make a number of different objects in the game. This includes the likes of necklaces, statues, rings and trinkets. You can also use it to cut gems that can be used for socketed items. The figurines are what’s considered to be jewelcrafting only types of item, that are under the category of bind on pickup in the game. In Wrath of the Lich King, you have jewelcrafting specific gems too, which have better stats than normal gems.

Initially you could use jewelcrafting items even without the expansion. That said, it was only those who had The Burning Crusade that could then learn the actual profession. This changed with the introduction of Cataclysm, which made it available for everyone.

You can also use it to get gems out of mineral ores such as mithril, iron and so on. There’s five pieces of ore to be used with each casting of prospecting. The level and form of gems used relies on the ore that is being used as reagents by yourself.

Cutting Gems

After you have reached level 300 in the profession, you can then start learning how to cut gems that can be used for sockets. These need to be purchased from your faction’s Master Jewelcrafter. They can be found in the Hellfire Peninsula. Otherwise, you can purchase them from a number of faction vendors, though you will often need a certain level of reputation with them in order to buy the designs that you’re looking for. So if you have some spare gold lying around that you’ve been saving for WoW mounts for sale, this might be worth looking into.

Socketing Items

If you’re looking for items with sockets on them, then try looking in Northrend and Outland. You cut gems with jewelcrafters that are able to cut raw gems into jewels. After this, you can then put them into the relevant socket. This will offer bonus stats to the item that they are applied to. You can replace a socketed gem with another gem if you wish, though this will destroy the initial gem that was there.

As for gems themselves, they come in eight different colours. These include blue, green, meta, orange, purple, prismatic, red and yellow. If you have red, yellow and blue gems, which are primary colour gems, they will only fit the colour of the gem slot they’re in. Meanwhile, green, orange and purple will match any of the two slots that are relevant to their colour. The tertiary coloured gems are able to fit any slot whilst activating the slot bonus, though this doesn’t count for meta.

You have several gems to choose from that you can cut to fit into gems. Every colour has an uncommon gem, of which can be cut with the patterns that you get from quartermasters and vendors. These are learnable between the levels 300-325. There is also rare gems that can be cut to world drop designs once you have gotten jewelcrafting up to level 350.

Each colour of gem has an epic equivalent as well. To get these, you will have to use mining nodes within Mount Hyjal. You can also trade for them with badges of justic in Shattrath City. They are also obtained as drops in the Black Temple from mobs.

Using the Interface

If you want to socket your gems, then hold the shift key down and right-click on the item that has the sockets in it. You will then see a window that has sockets at the bottom of it. This is where you can drop your gems into. Once they’re in your desired sockets, you will see an option you can click on that says “Socketed Gems” on it.

Don’t worry, you won’t need to buy WoW gold to make the most of jewelcrafting either. The key is knowing the right places to get the relevant items and gear from. It is an incredibly useful profession, and something that you should certainly look into investing some time into if possible.

5 Reasons Why You Should Play World of Warcraft

5 Reasons Why You Should Play World of Warcraft

1. A Very Significant Game

2. Just Like Tolkien

3. Easier Entry

4. Back to Old Times

5. A Blast in Azeroth

It has been said that the age of MMORPGs is long past. If that’s the case, then what’s the point of playing Blizzard’s long-running high-fantasy MMO, especially when it has been running for fifteen years and counting? Well, we can think of five solid points to counter that statement.

Here are the top reasons why you should still play World of Warcraft in 2021 and beyond.

A Very Significant Game

Like it or not, World of Warcraft is not only one of the most popular MMORPGs, but also the most culturally significant MMO to ever hit the gaming scene. Aside from being the game of choice by personalities like Mila Kunis, Ronda Rousey, Kanye West, and the late great Robin Williams, it’s also the blueprint game for a lot of other MMOs.

Heck, even an MMO as big as Final Fantasy XIV owes a lot of its mechanics to WoW. That’s not to say that they’re WoW rip-offs, but you can’t deny how influential and enjoyable it must have been for them to go to lengths and adopt what’s working for WoW.

Just Like Tolkien

It’s safe to say that World of Warcraft has an intensely rich lore and world-building mechanic. Humans, elves of all allegiances, orcs, trolls, tauren, and the undead in a world rife with magic and conflict – it’s very much Tolkien-esque. Of course, the writing isn’t as good as JRR’s, but Azeroth is just as fascinating, huge, and diverse as Middle Earth. Plus, it’s just as allegorical to real-world issues, more relatable and easier to digest because it’s a video game. Think of a World of Warcraft account as a book club membership because you heard the word Tolkien, right? What comes to your head is the question mark if World of Warcraft somehow related to Lord of the Rings. As the a Tolkienist and a World of Warcraft regular gamer I can tell that -aside from WoW items, objects, a couple of WoW characters and some small details like The One Ring, 3 Trolls sitting around a campfire, etc. – WoW has not taken any blunt storytelling concept from LoTR as this would be a huge licensing controversy Blizzard would never have attempt to go against.

Easier Entry

Ever since Legion, Blizzard has been making a lot of moves to make World of Warcraft more palatable to players who want to try it but are daunted with all its years and its experienced players. Now, the game gives a lot of opportunities for new players to play catch-up with the rest of the player base. That means it’s easier to earn EXP and WoW Classic gold. This is still very much true with Battle for Azeroth.

Compared to previous expansions, players don’t have to grind as hard just to take on endgame PVE and PVP. While the more “protective” veterans may think that this is unfair or would “cheapen” the game, this less steep road to the endgame actually benefits everyone. Nobody’s sure how long this will be the case for WoW, but it’d be best if starting, current, and prospective players would take advantage of this.

Back to Old Times

Aside from making it a lot less difficult for budding adventurers to get on a competitive level, the themes of Legion and Battle for Azeroth have made the game more inviting to new blood. A lot of gamers, even those that have no interest in playing WoW, already know what World of Warcraft is about: the never-ending struggle between the Alliance and Horde, as well as the sudden arrival of the Burning Legion.

Sure, the two biggest factions are nothing like what they were in Warcraft II and III as the Undead and Night Elf Sentinels have become integrated to the Horde and Alliance respectively, but the old flames of war are indeed just as hot as it was before. With its return to the core concept that many prospective players have associated with the franchise, there’s no better time to start or go back to playing World of Warcraft.

A Blast in Azeroth

Lastly and most importantly, WoW is fun! After all, there’s nothing like being a warrior, spellcaster, or ranger of any of the fantastical races, trying to get stronger, taking on existential threats and political enemies, and exploring the deep mysteries of Azeroth. Truly, it’s the joy that the game brings that’s the best part of World of Warcraft.

Just because something is old doesn’t mean it’s no longer worth trying. If anything, people should know that World of Warcraft, like fine wine, got better with age. So, if you’re thinking of getting a sip from the most famous MMORPG fix – don’t think; just do it!

WoW Shadowlands: Surviving the Fracture Chambers

WoW Shadowlands: Surviving the Fracture Chambers

Get rid of those pesky assassins!

Torghast, also known as the Tower of the Damned, is one of the most imposing figures in World of Warcraft lore. Recently, a rather notorious wing opened up—the Fracture Chambers. Naturally, the WoW faithful celebrated as a new wing means a new place to discover and more WoW gold to loot! Unfortunately, it is rife with deadly assassins looking to end your adventure in one fell swoop. But fortunately, we’re here to guide you along. So fill your virtual pockets with cheap WoW gold, pack up your essential WoW items, and get ready for a long adventure.

Here’s our essential guide to mitigating those pesky assassins in the Fracture Chambers!

Fracturing Forces

The main thing to note about the Fracture Chambers is that it constantly seeks out fresh prey—that means you! To its end, it calls out Mawsworn Shadestalker every half-a-minute while its target is not currently engaged in combat. It is also bumped up with a 10% health increase which stacks up over time.

Complications & Mitigations

As if dealing with the constant threat of assassins isn’t enough, you’ll also need to have your wits about you to complete puzzles. A surefire way to mitigate this complication is to ensure that you are constantly in combat mode.

To mitigate them you’ll need to bide your time in the so-called break rooms. As the torments of the tower will be inactive there, you’ll get some much-needed rest to compose yourself. Take note, however, that there really isn’t any way to permanently deactivate the tower’s torments.

It’s also worth noting that Mages and Hunters play a crucial part in this. The former because of their inherent ability to polymorph creatures and the latter because of their skill in setting traps which can turn the tide in your favor during combat.

Also, it’s important that you go about your raid wisely. By that, we mean using the mawrats to your advantage. It will be easy to engage one in combat as they are practically littered all over Torghast. Do note that you shouldn’t get carried away during your engagement. DO NOT KILL IT as you need to be in perpetual combat mode. If, for some reason, you can’t spot mawrats, then you’ll just have to make do with lowly enemies such as skeletons. That way, you’ll remain in combat mode while still being relatively safe.

The Fallen

If and when you manage to make it through the initial challenges of the Fracture Chambers, you’ll need to muster up your courage for one final push: Facing Kosarus the Fallen. There are different bosses whom you will encounter in the Fracture Chambers, but he is the one that’s worth noting. With his unique ability of Predator’s Gaze, it won’t be an easy task. For one, you’ll need to keep steady every time he casts it. Don’t despair though as you can prevent this by stunning him quickly. Again, DO NOT MOVE. Now, we’re not saying you should let yourself be a target; you can still attack him using various WoW items such as smoke bombs.

Kosarus has another ability in the form of Collapse, a random AoE. This should be easy to avoid so we won’t delve deeper into it. The key to defeating him is to really negate his first ability. When all things are considered, it’s really the only thing that makes him a formidable foe anyway. Again, you’ll encounter other bosses,

Conclusion

Torghast is filled with massive challenges—especially for the unwary. Make sure to buy WoW gold and stock up on your essentials before you even think about taking on this challenge. That being said, no challenge is so daunting that it can’t be overcome. And with this Fracture Chamber guide, you’ve taken your first step to conquering the seemingly unconquerable. Do you have what it takes to take up the gauntlet? We hope so—great rewards await you after all. Good luck and see you in Azeroth!

The Cost of WoW Mounts

Typically, you can get the amount for the game from the store for $25. For the Mighty Caravan Brutosaur however, you are going to need a significant amount more. When it first released, the value of the WoW mount stood at about $475. For $20, you can purchase WoW tokens, which can buy game time and be sold in the auction house in exchange for in-game gold. Back then, if you had no gold, you would have needed 24 tokens to buy the Mighty Caravan Brutosaur.

Fast-forward to more recent times, and the tokens are worth around 140,000 gold. Seeing as the tokens set you back $20 of real money, it would cost you over $700 for this World of Warcraft Mount. Its also going to be harder to obtain, with it being moved to the black market, making it rarer and more expensive than it was before.

So needless to say, if you want to get this WoW mount, it’s going to take a lot of effort on your behalf, since its more than likely that you aren’t going to want to part with an absurd amount of your real-life cash. Thankfully there are ways for you to make a decent profit to be able to eventually afford one.

What Method Should I Use to Get the WoW Mount?

A good way of gold making to go towards your World of Warcraft Mount is to buy and sell materials for profit. The reason being is that this is a task that you are able to do whilst you’re AFK. It may not be the most glamourous way of doing things, and it is probably one of the more time-consuming methods that are out there, but nevertheless, it is going to fetch you enough gold in the long run.

You could also use more than one character to earn gold. If you use several maxed-out characters to do this then you can make a fair amount of gold to go towards your rather hefty goal. This method, using an Alt Army, can be a long, long process. Having to level several characters is naturally going to take you a long while. So as with the previous method, its time consuming, but in the end, it’s worth it to have something to go towards your goal.

You could also head down to the auction house to see what WoW Classic items are in high demand. By making these World of Warcraft items to sell there, you can make an insane amount of gold. This method will be unavailable when the next expansion, Shadowlands arrives, so be sure to make the most of this whilst you have the opportunity to do so.

Yes, the sheer amount needed in order to purchase the Mighty Caravan Brutosaur is borderline absurd for many. The very fact that the comparison to real-world money from the amount of WoW Gold that you are going to need ventures up into costing you way into the high hundreds if you want to buy it outright with no tokens already in place can be very daunting. It isn’t impossible for you to do however, it will ultimately take a lot of dedication and some smart tactics for you to make sure you can get enough in a reasonable time. Regardless of what method you choose, it is going to take time, but imagine the feeling when you are finally riding around on the back of your very own WoW Mighty Caravan Brutosaur? The envy of many players, for sure.
