Resident Evil Requiem: All Weapons & How to Unlock Them

Resident Evil Requiem: All Weapons & How to Unlock Them

Resident Evil Requiem splits its arsenal between Grace Ashcroft’s survival-focused inventory and Leon S. Kennedy’s larger, upgradeable arsenal. Some weapons are automatic story pickups, others are hidden in optional areas, and several powerful firearms can only be unlocked through the game’s Special Content system.

This guide covers the weapons you can obtain during the campaign, Leon’s Supply Box firearms, the post-game bonus weapons, and Grace’s Insanity-exclusive R.I.P. Knife. It also points out the weapons that are easiest to miss and explains which upgrades are actually worth prioritizing.

Spoilers ahead: Weapon locations include later-game areas, boss rewards, and post-game unlocks.

The main weapon references agree on the story weapons, Supply Box firearms, eight Special Content weapons, and the separate Insanity-only R.I.P. Knife.

How the Weapon System Works

Grace and Leon handle weapons differently.

Grace can store weapons in the storage chest found in safe rooms. Her standard weapons do not use Leon’s upgrade system. She instead relies heavily on inventory management, crafting, and resource conservation.

Leon cannot store weapons in the same way. His Supply Boxes let him buy weapons, ammunition, upgrades, and gear. Weapons he no longer wants can be sold and purchased again later, which helps when inventory space becomes a problem.

Leon can normally upgrade compatible weapons through the Supply Box, while Advanced Tuning unlocks a further upgrade level after you destroy all 25 Mr. Raccoon memoriams.

Grace’s Weapons

Grace’s arsenal is smaller, but several of her weapons are easy to overlook during the Care Center sections.

S&S M232

Character: Grace
Type: Handgun
Location: Care Center, West Wing, 2F, Bar & Lounge

The S&S M232 is Grace’s personal handgun. Story events cause her to lose it earlier in the campaign, but you can recover it from the Bar & Lounge, where it sits on the bar counter.

The weapon is beside the Bar & Lounge safe, so this is a good place to handle both objectives during the same visit. For the combination, see our Resident Evil Requiem Safe Codes & Combinations guide.

B934

Character: Grace
Type: Handgun
Location: Care Center, West Wing, 1F, Dining Room

The B934 is found on the floor of the Dining Room after you pass through the Kitchen. It is one of Grace’s early firearms and is worth picking up immediately rather than leaving it behind.

One important difficulty detail: a current GameFAQs reference places the B934 in the East Wing Waiting Room on Insanity, so don’t assume the Standard location carries over unchanged when playing on the highest difficulty.

Requiem

Character: Grace and Leon
Type: Assault revolver
How to unlock: Story progression

Requiem is Leon’s starting high-caliber revolver before he hands it to Grace during the Care Center sequence. Grace later returns it to Leon. The weapon uses 12.7x55mm ammunition and is built around high damage and penetration rather than high capacity.

For Leon, it is also one of the better long-term upgrade candidates because its Supply Box upgrades improve stability, rate of fire, reload speed, and power.

Makeshift Knife

Character: Grace
Type: Melee
Location: Care Center Filing Room

You can find the Makeshift Knife in a locker in the Filing Room, next to the Dining Room. Additional knives can be found elsewhere, and Grace can craft more after obtaining the necessary recipe.

It is mainly a defensive tool. When an enemy grabs Grace, the knife can be used to fight her way free, but its durability is limited.

Hunting Knife

Character: Grace
Type: Melee
Location: Near the Dining Room/Filing Room

The Hunting Knife is carried by an enemy near the Dining Room and Filing Room. Once that enemy is dealt with, you can collect the weapon.

Like the Makeshift Knife, it has limited durability and cannot be sharpened or repaired the way Leon maintains his Hatchet.

Leon’s Story Weapons

Leon gets a considerably larger selection of conventional firearms.

Hatchet

Character: Leon
Type: Melee
How to unlock: Starting weapon

The Hatchet is Leon’s default melee weapon. It can parry certain enemy attacks and can also be used to finish staggered enemies. It loses sharpness with use, but unlike Grace’s knives, Leon can restore it by sharpening the blade.

The Hatchet can also receive Supply Box upgrades for power and durability, making it worth maintaining throughout the campaign.

Alligator Snapper

Character: Leon
Type: Handgun
How to unlock: Starting weapon

The Alligator Snapper is Leon’s standard semi-automatic handgun and is available from the beginning. It’s a straightforward sidearm rather than a specialist weapon, so it remains useful while you’re building up credits for the rest of Leon’s arsenal.

MSBG 500

Character: Leon
Type: Shotgun
Location: Care Center Attic

You’ll find the MSBG 500 on the floor in the Attic during Leon’s Care Center section, on the route toward the Chunk encounter.

It’s a compact pump-action shotgun with a five-shell capacity and several available upgrades, including components that increase power, reload speed, or rate of fire.

Classic 70

Character: Leon
Type: Rifle
Location: Victor’s private study / story progression

The Classic 70 is a bolt-action rifle obtained when you regain control of Leon after the Courtyard events. It becomes the key weapon for the long-range sequence where Leon has to protect Grace from a distance.

It comes with a standard scope, while the Silver Finish Scope can later be found in an open container in the Parking Garage behind the R.P.D.

If you enjoy deliberate headshots and conserve rifle ammunition, the Classic 70 is one of Leon’s most satisfying campaign weapons.

Gal

Character: Leon
Type: Submachine gun
Location: East Raccoon City Underground Parking Garage

The Gal is hidden in the northwestern section of the flooded Underground Parking Garage, near the area where you search for the Battery Key. Another current guide describes it as being inside the shed just beyond the partially submerged cars.

It has a large magazine and is designed for sustained automatic fire rather than precision.

Marksman 1A

Character: Leon
Type: Semi-automatic rifle
Location: BSAA Container 03, East Raccoon City

The Marksman 1A is inside BSAA Container 03 at the far end of the main street in East Raccoon City. You’ll need the BSAA Container Key to open it.

It holds 10 rifle rounds normally, with upgrades increasing capacity and rate of fire.

If the rifle doesn’t fit in your inventory when you find it, you don’t necessarily lose access to it permanently; PowerPyx notes that it can still be purchased later from Supply Boxes.

W870 Police

Character: Leon
Type: Shotgun
Location: Gun Shop Kendo, Raccoon City Center

After the Gun Shop Kendo cutscene, turn around. The W870 Police is sitting on a shelf behind the door.

The shotgun starts with five shells and can be upgraded for additional capacity, power, and stability.

For a standard playthrough, this is one of the most useful pickups to keep in Leon’s rotation because it gives you a reliable pump-action option without requiring a Special Content unlock.

Mortal Edge

Character: Leon
Type: Melee
How to unlock: Defeat the Commander in the ARK

Mortal Edge is dropped by the Commander after the ARK boss fight. It has a larger parry window than the standard Hatchet and cannot be upgraded.

After completing the game, Mortal Edge can also be unlocked through Special Content for 3,000 CP and then purchased from Leon’s Supply Box. Current references agree on the 3,500-CP Special Content cost.

Leon’s Supply Box Weapons

Three standard firearms are purchased directly from Supply Boxes.

WeaponTypeSupply Box Cost
Silencer 9HandgunSee Supply Box
990-TACShotgun7,000 Credits
Stiri REVO3 A1SMG6,000 Credits

The exact weapon prices are visible at the Supply Box, while the current GameFAQs item guide lists the 990-TAC at 7,000 Credits and Stiri REVO3 A1 at 6,000 Credits.

Silencer 9

The Silencer 9 is Leon’s suppressed handgun. The built-in suppressor reduces the sound of its shots, making it useful when you want a quieter sidearm rather than another high-damage option.

990-TAC

The 990-TAC is a semi-automatic shotgun with a higher capacity than the MSBG 500. It can take a Dot Sight, extended tube, upgraded barrel, and stock.

Stiri REVO3 A1

The Stiri REVO3 A1 is a compact SMG with a 30-round magazine. Its upgrade path can improve precision, power, capacity, and stability.

Special Content Weapons

After building up Challenge Points, you can spend CP in Special Content to unlock several bonus weapons.

Once unlocked, Grace receives her weapons through her item box, while Leon can obtain his through Supply Boxes.

Freya’s Needle

Character: Grace
Cost: 4,000 CP

Freya’s Needle is a lightweight machine pistol that uses handgun ammunition. It prioritizes a high rate of fire over precision, making it a useful aggressive option for repeat runs.

Kotetsu

Character: Grace
Cost: 5,000 CP

Kotetsu is an unbreakable knife.

For Grace, that makes it one of the strongest quality-of-life purchases in Special Content. Standard knives wear down; Kotetsu does not.

Matilda IMP

Character: Leon
Cost: 500 CP

Matilda IMP is a polymer-frame handgun. Its Folding Stock upgrade enables three-round burst fire, turning it into a compact alternative to a conventional handgun.

At 500 CP, it is also one of the cheapest bonus weapons to unlock.

Ghost Grudge

Character: Leon
Cost: 1,000 CP

Ghost Grudge is a large revolver that uses 12.7x55mm ammunition. It cannot receive normal weapon upgrades, although charms can still affect it.

It is a straightforward choice for players who want another heavy-hitting revolver without spending the higher CP required for the game’s other late-game weapons.

Redemption

Character: Leon
Cost: 3,500 CP

Redemption is a break-action, single-shot handgun that uses rifle ammunition. Each shot hits hard, but you need to reload after every round.

Because sources sometimes classify it differently, this guide uses the game’s functional description—single-shot handgun—rather than forcing it into a disputed category.

Clatter Carbine

Character: Leon
Cost: 6,000 CP

The Clatter Carbine is a suppressed assault rifle that holds 40 rounds of machine-gun ammunition. It is available through Special Content after completing the game and cannot receive normal Supply Box weapon upgrades.

For a repeat run, this is one of the most straightforward ways to give Leon sustained automatic fire without relying on a conventional SMG.

RPG-7

Character: Leon
Cost: 15,000 CP

The RPG-7 is the game’s dedicated rocket launcher. It becomes available through Special Content after completing the game for 15,000 CP.

It has no normal weapon upgrades. Infinite ammo is a separate Special Content unlock costing 35,000 CP.

R.I.P. Knife — Insanity Exclusive

Character: Grace
Difficulty: Insanity
Cost: 5 Antique Coins

The R.I.P. Knife is a special Grace weapon tied to Insanity difficulty.

You can obtain it from the Parlor by spending five Antique Coins. PowerPyx also notes that a blood specimen in the 1F Waiting Room Closet can provide the crafting recipe.

Its main advantage is resource generation: it produces more blood than the standard knives, which matters when you’re crafting Grace’s blood-based items.

Because it is difficulty-exclusive, I treat the R.I.P. Knife separately from the main campaign and Special Content weapon lists.

The Weapons Most Worth Hunting Down

Not every weapon in Requiem requires a detour, but a few are easy to miss.

S&S M232

Check the Bar & Lounge on 2F of the West Wing. You’re already close to an important safe, so this is an easy pickup to combine with another objective.

Gal

Don’t leave the East Raccoon City Underground Parking Garage without checking the northwestern section. This is an optional pickup and one of the easiest guns to walk past.

Marksman 1A

The Marksman 1A is locked inside BSAA Container 03. If you are collecting weapons, this is worth the key detour.

W870 Police

The Kendo sequence can distract you from the shotgun sitting directly behind you after the cutscene. Turn around before leaving the shop.

Classic 70 Scope

The rifle itself is story progression, but its Silver Finish Scope is an optional pickup in the Parking Garage behind the R.P.D.

Best Weapons for a First Playthrough

There is no single “best weapon” for every situation, but a few choices stand out.

RoleBest PickWhy
Grace high-damage firearmRequiemHigh-power 12.7x55mm revolver
Grace meleeHunting Knife / Makeshift KnifeUse them defensively and conserve durability
Leon general handgunAlligator SnapperReliable starting sidearm
Leon shotgunW870 PoliceStrong pump-action option with useful upgrades
Leon long-rangeClassic 70Strong, precise rifle with useful scope options
Leon automatic weaponStiri REVO3 A1 / GalHigh sustained fire
Best bonus knifeKotetsuInfinite durability
Best heavy bonus weaponRPG-7Maximum burst damage

For Grace, the Requiem is the obvious choice when a fight calls for raw firearm damage. For Leon, the W870 Police is an excellent all-purpose shotgun, while the Classic 70 rewards players who are comfortable taking precise shots rather than burning through ammunition. Those recommendations are based on how the weapons’ documented stats, upgrade paths, and intended roles fit together rather than on a single damage number.

Best Bonus Weapons to Unlock First

You don’t need to buy every Special Content weapon immediately.

For Grace: Kotetsu

At 5,000 CP, Kotetsu removes the durability problem from Grace’s knife. If you frequently rely on defensive knife attacks, that’s a meaningful improvement rather than a novelty unlock.

For Leon: Matilda IMP

At only 500 CP, Matilda IMP is the cheapest bonus firearm and can eventually be configured for three-round bursts. It’s an easy early purchase once you’ve unlocked Special Content.

For Leon: Clatter Carbine

At 6,000 CP, Clatter Carbine is a much larger investment, but it gives Leon suppressed automatic fire in a dedicated assault-rifle package.

For Leon: RPG-7

Save the RPG-7 for when you have plenty of CP. The 15,000 CP unlock cost is significant, and infinite RPG ammo is another 35,000 CP on top of that.

Can Grace Upgrade Her Weapons?

Not in the same way Leon can.

Grace’s normal weapons don’t use Leon’s Supply Box tuning system. Her progression is built around collecting weapons, managing storage space, crafting resources, and using passive upgrades such as charms.

Leon, by contrast, can purchase weapon upgrades through Supply Boxes. After all 25 Mr. Raccoon memoriams are destroyed, Advanced Tuning becomes available and adds another upgrade level.

That difference is worth remembering when deciding whether a gun deserves space in Leon’s inventory. A weapon with several useful upgrade paths can age better than a stronger weapon that has no tuning options.

Do Weapons Carry Over to New Runs?

Several weapons and bonuses become part of the post-game system rather than being permanent story pickups.

Leon can sell weapons to Supply Boxes and buy them back later, while Grace uses her storage chests to manage weapons between sections. Special Content purchases remain available once unlocked and can then be retrieved through the relevant storage system.

This is particularly useful on repeat runs, when the value of bonus weapons like Kotetsu, Matilda IMP, Clatter Carbine, and RPG-7 becomes much clearer.

What About Grenades, Molotovs, and Acid?

These are combat items, but I would not mix them into the main firearm list.

Grace

  • Molotov Cocktail
  • Bottle of Acid

Both can be found during the story and can be crafted after Grace obtains the relevant recipes.

Leon

  • Hand Grenades
  • Stacked Hand Grenades

Leon can find grenades and craft additional ammunition using the appropriate resources.

Keeping these in a separate section makes the weapon list easier to use without pretending that every throwable is a conventional weapon.

Final Tips for Collecting Every Weapon

If you’re collecting weapons rather than simply trying to finish the story, keep four places in mind:

Care Center: check the Dining Room, Filing Room, Bar & Lounge, and Attic.

East Raccoon City: check the Underground Parking Garage and BSAA Container 03.

Raccoon City Center: don’t leave Gun Shop Kendo without checking behind the door after the cutscene.

Post-game: check Special Content for the bonus weapons you want, then use the appropriate item or Supply Box to claim them.

And if you are pursuing full completion, remember that Advanced Tuning is tied to destroying all 25 Mr. Raccoon memoriams, not to simply acquiring a certain number of weapons.

Sources & Updates

Last reviewed: August 2026

Weapon locations, unlock conditions, Supply Box behavior, and Special Content costs were cross-checked against current Resident Evil Requiem references from PowerPyx, GameSpot, Game8, and GameFAQs. Where source terminology differs—for example, how some databases classify Redemption—the guide uses the least ambiguous description rather than presenting a disputed label as fact.

How we verify: We prioritize details that are independently consistent across current references, and we flag or avoid hard claims when reputable sources disagree. This is particularly important for bonus-content terminology and weapon categorization.

Monster Hunter Stories 2 Tier List: Best Monsties for Endgame & PvP

Editorial Note: Tiers and gene recommendations reflect post-launch Title Update 5 balancing, co-op high-rank expeditions, and Fatalis/PvP meta optimization.

With over 140 companions available in Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, building the ultimate team requires looking past pure nostalgia. Success in high-rank co-op dens, Special Lair runs, and competitive PvP boils down to three core factors: base stat scaling, attack tendencies (Power, Speed, Technical), and bingo board flexibility via the Rite of Channeling.

Whether you need a heavy hitter to clear the S-Rank Fatalis trial or an early-game carry, this comprehensive Monstie Tier List breaks down the absolute best companions in the current meta.

🏆 Summary Tier List Breakdown

TierPrimary RoleFeatured Monsties
S-Tier (Meta Gods)Essential Endgame & PvPSilver Rathalos, Gold Rathian, Nergigante, Bloodbath Diablos, Boltreaver Astalos, Soulseer Mizutsune
A-Tier (Top Performers)High-Rank Co-op & Trial LairsDreadking Rathalos, Hellblade Glavenus, Kirin, Velkhana, Teostra, Silverwind Nargacuga, Stygian Zinogre
B-Tier (Solid Role Players)Mid-to-Late Game CarryTigrex, Nargacuga, Lagiacrus, Brachydios, Mizutsune, Razewing Ratha
C-Tier (Early/Niche)Campaign Progression & UtilityRanmar (Velocidrome), Royal Ludroth, Kulu-Ya-Ku, Pukei-Pukei

👑 S-Tier: The Definitive Endgame Meta

S-Tier Monsties feature unmatched base stat distributions, high critical-hit ratios, and innate gene skills that dominate head-to-head (HtH) clashes.

1. Silver Rathalos (Power / Fire)

  • Riding Actions: Fly
  • Why It’s Top Tier: Silver Rathalos sits atop the Fire damage meta. Boasting higher base elemental attack and defense stats than Teostra or Dreadking Rathalos, its signature Solar Flare gene delivers catastrophic single-target damage with a high burn chance.
  • Best Gene Synergy: Slot in Hellblade Gene (XL) for Flame Aura and Fire Boost Gene (XL) to maximize your Fire Bingo multipliers.

2. Bloodbath Diablos (Speed / Non-Elemental)

  • Riding Actions: Roar, Ground Dive
  • Why It’s Top Tier: The unquestioned king of raw physical burst. Bloodbath Diablos outpaces standard Speed monsties with incredible critical hit rates and its devastating Savage Roar skill, which hits all enemies while ignoring elemental resistances.
  • Best Gene Synergy: Build around Non-Elem Boost (XL), Might Gene (XL), and Critical Gene (XL) for maximum head-to-head damage multipliers.

3. Boltreaver Astalos (Technical / Thunder)

  • Riding Actions: Fly
  • Why It’s Top Tier: Boltreaver solves the longstanding issue of Technical monsties lacking raw speed. With immense critical hit scaling and paralysis application, it locks down bosses in high-rank co-op expeditions before they can enter enraged phases.
  • Best Gene Synergy: Pair with Thunderlord Gene (L) and Critical Eye to guarantee consistent crit-paralyze loops.

4. Soulseer Mizutsune (Speed / Water)

  • Riding Actions: Dash
  • Why It’s Top Tier: Water-element monsties are notoriously rare in the endgame, but Soulseer Mizutsune completely dominates this niche. Its high speed and dodge-buff mechanics make it nearly untouchable in high-rank PvP duels.

⚔️ A-Tier: High-Rank & Co-Op Powerhouses

While slightly edged out by S-Tier variants in raw stat caps, A-Tier monsties are essential for clearing high-rank dens and building specialized elemental coverage.

1. Nergigante (Power / Non-Elemental)

  • Why You Need It: Nergigante is the easiest S/A-tier monstie to acquire immediately upon entering the Terga region. Its self-healing passive (Calamity Slash) makes it the safest choice for soloing the Elder Lair.

2. Silverwind Nargacuga (Speed / Non-Elemental)

  • Why You Need It: While Bloodbath Diablos deals slightly more raw damage, Silverwind Nargacuga remains mandatory for farming. Its Stealth riding action allows you to bypass trash mobs in Co-Op Expeditions, saving hours when grinding Super Rare High-Rank Dens.

3. Velkhana & Kushala Daora (Technical / Ice)

  • Why You Need Them: Both Ice-type Elder Dragons dominate the Ice meta. Velkhana edges ahead in single-target skill damage, making it the primary counter for endgame Dragon-element boss trials.

🐣 Best Early-to-Mid Game Monsties (Campaign Carry)

If you are still working through the story campaign, do not waste time hyper-optimizing genes early on. Grab these easily accessible monsties:

  1. Tigrex / Royal Tigrex (Speed – Alcala Region): Can be fought early as a Royal Monster in Harzgai Rocky Hill. Gives you immediate access to 5-star stats and the Ivy Climb riding action.
  2. Nargacuga (Speed – Alcala Region): Unlocks the essential Stealth skill, making egg hunting significantly faster.
  3. Zamtrios (Technical / Ice – Loloska Region): Excellent mid-game wall breaker that handles the sudden jump in dragon/fire enemy difficulty in the snow region.

🧬 Rite of Channeling: Core Rules for Endgame Builds

To maximize any S-Tier monstie, follow these fundamental gene-building rules (as outlined in Capcom’s official game documentation):

  1. Prioritize Elemental Bingo Lines: Always complete bingo lines (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) matching your monstie’s primary element to hit maximum damage caps.
  2. Keep the Primary Tendency Pure: Avoid mixing too many off-type genes onto a natural Power or Speed monstie unless building a specific PvP surprise counter. Sticking to their natural tendency preserves their highest stat growth curve.
  3. Always Run Head-to-Head (HtH) Master: High-Rank endgames revolve around winning Head-to-Head clashes to build Kinship gauge quickly. Ensure every endgame build includes HtH Master (XL) or Self-Improvement (XL).

And let’s face it, Elden Ring isn’t for the faint of heart. Luckily, FromSoftware has bestowed a gift upon us mortals in the form of Elden Ring Runes, for those who want to take a breather from the chaos. This game boasts a breathtaking open world that’s chock-full of content, but with great freedom comes great responsibility. You might find yourself in a precarious situation, under-leveled and overwhelmed, losing your grip on reality and your controller.

One boss that’s been giving players fits is the notorious Starscourge Radahn. Fear not, my friends, for we’ve got the lowdown on what level you should be at to take on this formidable foe. Make no mistake, Radahn isn’t a pushover. You’ll want to be somewhere in the 70-80 level range if you’re planning to take him on. This will ensure that you’re dealing sufficient damage to the boss while not getting annihilated in one hit. Your health pool and attack power are also important factors to consider, alongside your level. Furthermore, your personal skills and weapon level can make or break your chances in this fight. Keep in mind that the recommended level may vary based on whether you’re fighting Radahn alone or with some backup.

Asking what level to fight Radahn in Elden Ring is a common inquiry among players, and answers can be as diverse as they come. But if you want the real deal, keep reading. We’ve got the lowdown on what level to fight Radahn in Elden Ring, so buckle up and get ready to kick some Radahn butt.

What Level Should I Be Fighting Starscourge Radahn?

Starscourge Radahn in Elden Ring is notorious for being one of the game’s hair-pulling difficulty spikes, leaving players teetering on the brink of despair. This boss fight is certainly not for the faint of heart and is sure to give even the most seasoned players a run for their money.

In order to stand a fighting chance against Radahn, we highly recommend that you level up your character to at least 70-80. These levels will serve you well if you invest them wisely in Vigor and Attack Power, tailored to complement your character build. This will not only allow you to deal enough damage to the boss but also give you a much-needed boost to your health and defensive capabilities, giving you a better chance to survive and conquer this formidable foe.

Make no mistake, taking on Starscourge Radahn is no walk in the park, but with the right preparation and strategy, victory is within reach. So, sharpen your blades, hone your skills, and gear up for one of Elden Ring’s most challenging battles yet.

Who is Starscourge Radahn

In the wondrous world of Elden Ring lies a boss that is as elusive as he is difficult – Starscourge Radahn. Situated in the confines of Redmane Castle, this boss is not exactly mandatory, but if you’re looking to unlock one of the game’s endings or complete a few NPC questlines, you’ll have to take him down.

Born to Queen Rennala and Radagon, Radahn is a demi-god by birthright, with the power and prowess to match. During the Shattering, he battled Malenia to a stalemate, showcasing his might in a way that few others could. But despite his impressive pedigree, Radahn’s mind has been ravaged by the Scarlet Rot, driving him into a state of feral madness that we must contend with in battle.

Make no mistake, this boss is not just a test of your combat skills, but also a feast for the eyes. With his stunning visual design and impressive armor set, Radahn is a boss that you won’t soon forget. So, ready your weapons and brace yourself for the fight of your life.

Suggested Level to Fight Radahn

Fighting the mighty Radahn in Elden Ring is not a feat for the faint of heart, but fear not, dear adventurer, for we have a suggestion to level the playing field. While the ideal level for taking on this demi-god boss is certainly subjective, we recommend a range of 70-80 to keep things fair and square. This way, you can enjoy a well-balanced and thrilling fight that won’t feel like a cakewalk or a hopeless endeavor.

Of course, leveling up beyond this range doesn’t necessarily guarantee an easy victory. You see, Radahn is a formidable foe, and his ferocious attacks can catch even the most seasoned players off guard. So, even if you’re at a higher level, you’ll still need to bring your A-game and stay on your toes if you hope to emerge victorious.

All in all, taking on Radahn is a test of your mettle as a warrior, and your level is just one factor in the equation. With the right tactics, equipment, and mindset, you can overcome this challenge and emerge triumphant, no matter what level you’re at.

The Importance of Weapon Level

When it comes to slaying bosses in Elden Ring, your character’s level is just the tip of the iceberg. In fact, what truly matters is the level of your weapon, as it determines the amount of punishment you can dish out and take in return.

An upgraded weapon can be your saving grace, not only against the likes of Starscourge Radahn but also every other area and boss in the game. You may have heard tales of lower-level players putting Radahn in his place, while others at level 105 have met their untimely demise at his hands.

A higher-level weapon ensures a fair and balanced battle, providing you with a decent damage output and more powerful weapon skills to help you wriggle out of tight spots – particularly in a fight as intense as Radahn’s. So, don’t overlook the importance of upgrading your weapon, dear warrior, if you wish to emerge victorious in the realm of Elden Ring.

Factors to Consider When Fighting

Playstyle and Character Build

When it comes to facing formidable foes like Radahn, it’s essential to consider your character’s build and playstyle. It’s no secret that Magic builds can act as glass cannons, effortlessly obliterating enemies from a safe distance without breaking a sweat.

On the other hand, pure melee builds have to get up close and personal, quite literally. Engaging in a brawl demands a more generous HP pool to avoid being knocked out in one fell swoop, along with greater attack power if you want to bring down the boss in a reasonable amount of time. So, whether you prefer a magical or physical approach, remember that your build and style can make all the difference in your quest to conquer Elden Ring’s fiercest foes.

Stats Allocation

Stat allocation is a crucial factor to consider when tackling tough bosses like Starscourge Radahn in Elden Ring. It’s important to understand that levels don’t necessarily reflect power but rather the number of times you’ve invested Runes into the game’s Base Attributes.

Investing your Stat points wisely can be the deciding factor in your success against Radahn. For instance, a pure Strength player who allocated most of their points towards boosting their Health and Attack Power will likely have an easier time than someone who spread their points across multiple Attributes. So, dear warriors, remember to allocate your Stats strategically to achieve maximum efficiency and conquer the challenges of Elden Ring with ease.

Summons

Prepare for a thrilling and singular experience when facing the Starscourge Radahn in Elden Ring. What sets this boss fight apart from the rest is the ability to summon up to five NPCs to join you in battle, adding to the excitement and unpredictability of the encounter. Without giving away any spoilers, the NPCs’ involvement in the fight ties into the game’s ongoing narrative.

There are eight unique NPCs that you can summon for this particular fight, and they can be resummoned if needed. By enlisting the help of these NPCs, you can take on Radahn at a much lower level than if you were to go it alone. With Radahn’s focus divided between multiple targets, your subpar Attributes may be compensated for, making the risk much more manageable. So, don’t hesitate to call upon your NPC allies and face Radahn with confidence.

The Importance of Skill

Hop aboard the git gud express! The concept is simple: Radahn can be faced at any point in the game, depending on your skill level. Believe it or not, some players complete the game without donning a single piece of armor or leveling up.

If you’re a master of Elden Ring, then you may find tackling Starscourge Radahn at a lower level than recommended a piece of cake. On the flip side, for those who haven’t quite mastered the game yet, it may be a struggle. But don’t fret! You can take on Radahn at your own pace, whether you’re a seasoned pro or a newbie. So, grab your controller and show Radahn who’s boss!

Tips to Defeat Starscourge Radahn

In Elden Ring, even the highest-level players can find themselves six feet under if they’re not careful. The ruthless Starscourge Radahn will put your skills to the test, so buckle up and listen up for some valuable tips to survive this boss fight:

  • Make use of the summons: As previously mentioned, you can summon up to five NPCs to help you in battle. This will divide Radahn’s attention and make the fight more manageable.
  • Keep your summons alive: Your NPC allies will only be helpful if they’re alive, so keep an eye on their health and prioritize healing them when needed.
  • Do not get greedy: Radahn hits hard, so don’t get too greedy with your attacks. Be patient and wait for the right opportunity to strike.
  • Maintain a safe distance in the second phase: In the second phase of the fight, Radahn becomes mounted on his horse, making him much more mobile. Keep a safe distance to avoid his attacks and wait for an opening.
  • Move-in after his Hail of Arrows attack and go to town while he is unmounted: When Radahn unleashes a Hail of Arrows attack, it leaves him vulnerable for a short time after. Take advantage of this opportunity to strike while he’s
  • dismounted.
  • Mount your horse: If you’re having trouble avoiding Radahn’s attacks, consider mounting your horse to increase your mobility.
  • A good shield can be better against his arrows than rolling out of harm’s way: Rolling may seem like a good option to avoid Radahn’s arrows, but a good shield can be much more effective in protecting you.
  • Summons make his moveset unpredictable, so soloing can sometimes be better: While summons can be helpful, they can also make Radahn’s moveset unpredictable. Consider soloing the fight if you’re having trouble with your NPC allies.
  • Radahn is weak to Rot: Lastly, Radahn is weak to Rot, so consider using weapons that deal Rot damage to increase your chances of victory.

Remember, the key to defeating Starscourge Radahn is to stay patient, be observant, and most importantly, don’t give up.

Elden Ring Reaches 750,000 Players On Steam

Elden Ring Reaches 750,000 Players On Steam

Elden Ring has been a long time coming, but who would have thought that the hype would be this big?

It’s official: it’s in the papers. Elden Ring is FromSoft’s biggest and most hyped launch to date. The latest game from the iconic studio that brought us the Soulslike, Soulsborne, Soulbornkiro, whatever you’d like to call it, genre has attracted over 750,000 concurrent Steam players. There’s been a spate of negative user reviews generating thanks to its inconsistent PC performance; this success can be even seen in gaming marketplaces that specialize in selling game accounts and other types of services. Publisher Bandai Namco has yet to announce the game’s official launch sales, but we’ve seen massive success just from Steam alone, so it’s easy to assume that the numbers are above 1,000,000 at launch if the PC numbers alone are anything to go by.

Comparing Elden Dark to Other Dark Souls Games

On launch day, Elden Ring hit a peak concurrent player count on Steam of 764,835 players. When you compare that to Dark Souls 3 which had 129,975 players and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice which had an all-time peak of 125,315 players, you can see just how huge these numbers are on PC. If we crunch the numbers, we can see that Elden Ring had nearly six times more concurrent players than Dark Souls 3’s highest ever peak. The player numbers will constantly change on Steam – no game sits at the top forever, after all.

Performance is A Big Issue

It’s not all good news for Elden Ring despite hitting such high numbers. The game has attracted a swathe of negative reviews on Steam thanks to its dubious performance on PC. Digital Foundry’s statement of Elden Ring’s performance being a mixed bag right now is putting it lightly, to say the least. Even with the 1.02 available to download now, PC users can see stutters of up to 250 milliseconds in length when new areas, effects, and enemies appear on the screen. At its worst, Elden Ring players experience “tumbling frame-time issues” that drop the frame rate from 60 to 40. A look at the Steam reviews shows that over 7,000 of them consist of negatives shows that these performance issues are not lost on PC players despite the patch update.

What’s All the Hype About Anyway?

A big part of the hype surrounding Elden Ring is the great track record that Hidetaka Miyazaki (the game’s director) and FromSoftware have had over the best decade. This has built a trusting relationship between fans of the games and the developers, as each new mechanic added to the game before its official launch was received positively.

Another reason why fans are hyped about Elden Ring even after its release is that it’s the spiritual successor to the Dark Souls series due to its graphics, story, and overall medieval setting being the perfect fit for the franchise. Especially since the last FromSoftware title, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, was set in Sengoku Era Japan, players were itching for a more Gothic experience featuring magic and greatswords than samurais and katanas.

Lastly, the story is more intricate this time around, as fans will experience a mythos built from the ground up by George R. R. Martin, writer of the novels that the Game of Thrones series was based on.

Final Thoughts

Due to FromSoftware’s attempt at making the game accessible to as many computers as possible, they’ve essentially taken on a situation more difficult than if they were to just leave these PC players behind. Elden Ring is facing serious performance issues on PC to the point that they aren’t just minor inconveniences anymore, leading to a lot of players from that platform selling their game accounts on gaming marketplaces. Almost all GPUs – yes, even the super expensive ones – struggle when going outside into the beautiful horizon but run fine indoors. This is likely due to the game using DirectX 12, a software developed by Microsoft that has been known to produce fluctuations and aggressive stutters in modern games since it takes a different approach to memory management. Variable refresh rate technologies like FreeSync and G-Sync alleviate the issues to some degree, but that’s now how it should be as not everyone has access to those.

It remains to be seen what Bandai Namco does about this situation as the day-one patch didn’t address these issues one bit. This is even more strange if you consider that FromSoftware’s last two games, Sekiro and Dark Souls 3, had no problems across all platforms. In the meantime, there are still a lot of players actively grinding through Elden Ring, even if it currently faces a lot of problems.

OSRS – Preparing for The Gauntlet

OSRS – Preparing for The Gauntlet

Before you dive into The Gauntlet, you should get ready for what’s to come.

If you need a strategy for completing the Gauntlet boss fight, then you’ll want to prepare yourself for battle. You might be parting ways with your OSRS gold to get to where you need to be, but before you go looking for OSRS gold for sale, there are other preparations that you can make. We’ll be checking out the recommended skill levels, getting to the boss, and what to expect from it during the fight itself.

Requirements

For starters, it isn’t just going to buy OSRS gold then speeding our way to the skill levels we need to be at. A requirement for taking on this challenge is having to finish Song of the Elves, which is the last quest in the Elf quest series.

As for your combat stats, you should make sure that the majority of them are at level 85 or higher. So get your attack, strength, defense, range, magic, and hitpoints up to at least 85. As for your prayer, it’s recommended that you have it up to at least 77. On the subject of prayer, it would be useful to you to have the Augury and Rigour prayers available. There’s also the Piety prayer that’s handy, which you need to have completed both King’s Ransom and Knight Waves Training Grounds. Rather than finding OSRS items for sale, you can get your cooking, fishing, mining, woodcutting, and farming skills high enough to gather resources really quickly.

Reaching The Gauntlet

We now need to get to the location of the fight. To start off with, use the eternal teleport crystal that will take you to Prifddinas. From here, go to the northwest to get to where the Gauntlet Portal is. Alternatively, you can travel to Prifddinas by charter ship, then head to the east and north to reach the portal that you need. There’s a Prifddinas teleport that will take you just south of the portal as well, or you can use a Spirit Tree to travel to the location.

The Boss Fight

In the fight itself, you’ll find that the boss is located in the middle of the room. This is divided into a 7×7 grid and is next to the room that you start in. The boss is known as the Crystalline Hunllef, which is a level 674 creature that has 600 hit points with it. You will need to beat this boss if you’re going to complete The Gauntlet in its entirety. After you do, you will find yourself in a location where you can claim your reward.

The Gauntlet Tactics

A popular method for completing this task is called the 5:1 technique. This is where you essentially get the boss’ protection prayer to switch so that you can make more of your time with DPS with the aid of tier 3 perfected crystal bow equipped. Use this for the first five attacks before switching to melee and magic. This will prevent the boss from using Protect from Missiles, meaning it is worth pursuing. To ensure that this works, you’ll need a bow and a staff with the attack styles all ready to use.

Another method alongside 5:1 is known as the redemption method. This will help to cut down any tick loss that you get from the boss battle courtesy of the Redemption prayer. To make sure that you can use this method, you need to use the relevant protection prayer to get the attack that is cast, then turn to Redemption prayer as the projectile is in flight. When it’s active, take a quick gulp of your potion then get your prayer ready. Keep in mind also that you’ll need up to eight paddlefish since you can’t rely on Redemption prayer in high-risk situations. When you do find yourself fishing for the raw paddlefish, take vials and get water from the fishing spots. Doing so will save you a few ticks towards the end, meaning that you can complete it faster.

It will be worth your time having enough OSRS GP to help prepare for this run. There are plenty of OSRS items for sale that can be used to good effect, especially when getting those levels up. If you are going to purchase gold, then there’s an element of precaution that you need to be taking.

It isn’t just a case of finding a source that can help you to get cheap OSRS gold. You will want to find the most trusted OSRS gold website as well. Keep an eye on their performance as a site seller, by taking a look at whether or not they offer customer service chat around the clock. This is usually a good indicator of legitimacy.

WoW TBC Paladin Leveling Tips

WoW TBC Paladin Leveling Tips

There are some choices you can make to help level your Paladin.

Every class in WoW TBC has it’s own advantages, though the way they level can differ with the right knowledge. Whether you have to buy TBC gold or grind through The Burning Crusade power levelling, you could still benefit knowing some facts about the class you’re using. In this instance, we’ll be looking at some tips for those playing as the Paladin.

About The Paladin

We feel that honesty is the best policy, and when it comes to Paladins, they aren’t exactly the quickest for you to get through TBC power levelling with. It isn’t as fast as other classes because of the pace in which they kill mobs. That said, they more than make up for it with their defences. They’re able to wear high defence armor and heal themselves efficiently. They are also very useful at keeping your health and mana in check, and don’t have too much downtime.

Choosing Your Specs

Having the best character as a Paladin isn’t always determined by the amount of TBC Classic gold you have or the TBC items you find. Having the right spec is going to go a long way. In the case of the Paladin, you should focus on Retribution. This is going to help you immensely when levelling up solo. This spec will let you help up as fast as possible with the Paladin when playing alone. This is down to the additional damage traits that you get from the talents you find on the Retribution tree. For the fastest levelling solo spec, be sure to go with Retribution.

Alternatively, if you are going to go down the route of levelling with others, then try Holy, This gives some of the best healing for single targets that WoW TBC has to offer. The talent point you get can then go towards improving the blessing spells you’re using. If you’re in the tank role, then using Protection will be helpful. It might not be the best choice compared to Retribution in terms of the speed it kills at, but it can be used both solo and in a group effectively.

Abilities

Paladins rely on buffs and such where their abilities are concerned. Their DPS rotation is much more limited, and when taking both of these into account, you can surpass abilities more often than other classes can. Having a mount is a goal for many players, and Paladins can save their TBC gold since they get their own mount for practically no charge. Without having to spend your WoW TBC gold on a mount, you can spend more on upgrading your character. Not having to fork out for a mount is really going to help your TBC gold in the long run. Keep your ranks up for your abilities too, since you’ll then be able to level up much easier.

Paladin Levelling Tips

Now that we’re a bit more familiar with the class, we can take a look at what levelling tips the Paladin has. Firstly, ensure that you have a blessing active. This should be at all times, with a rnage of choices to go with. The Blessing of Might for example will help you to increase the rate of kills that you have with the Paladin. You could also reduce the abilities used in every mob takedown.

Not only should you have blessings active at all times, but have a seal buff as well. An aura buff will be important when it comes to levelling. Should you be struggling to find a buff that’s right for you, try considering the form of damage that you are taking at the time. Mobs can be troublesome for inflicting physical damage on you, and the likes of Devotion Aura can be effective here.

The approach that you should take as a Paladin is to be attacking automatically. Since Paladins’ damage mainly comes from physical damage, your goal will be to keep your mana up and use the time that you have to your advantage.

You won’t have to looking into going to buy WoW TBC accounts for a Paladin if you’re following these methods. It’s an option if you want to get ahead of the game, but the levelling process is very steady as this class. It might not be as quick as other classes, simply due to the speed of dealing with mobs. But it does have a number of positive traits that will be very useful in both solo and group approaches. With that in mind, be sure to make the most of your experience when playing as a Paladin.

ARK: Survival Evolved Breeding Mutations Guide

ARK: Survival Evolved Breeding Mutations Guide

There are many things that players can do in Ark: Survival Evolved. The first is taming and nurturing different creatures, which are exciting things to experience. However, among these, mutations can reproduce be more interesting but it is a bit tricky. the mutation in the Ark: Survival Evolved is incredibly complicated for an inexperienced breeder, and from my enjoyment and that of others, it takes time, to analyze the right techniques. the ARK kibble is used to mate tame creatures Most of the creatures prefer food made with eggs from a particular creature, along with fiber, Mejoberries, water.

First of all, Ark: Survival Evolved players need to ensure that only one parent has a mutation score below 20/20. If players can get both parents with such a result, it will be even better: their chances of mutations can be doubled.

It should be noted that the mutation score in Ark: Survival Evolved mainly refers to the number displayed in the player’s origin tree. This can be seen in the outcome 0-20 / 20 as a basis. Increase the extra time or with each game at a time. When a mutation occurs, two things are believed to happen. The first is that the statistics are changing, adding + 2 levels to the total number of levels Dressage certain statistics. The second is the colour mutation.

Breeding

The basics rule of breeding is very simple. You find a male and female dinosaur, raise them, and have babies. Simple enough. However, the reasons for breeding go beyond just getting more dinosaurs.

Raising a child allows you to get an impression bonus. This increases the reward of dinosaurs statistics by 20% with 100% print (assuming vanilla settings). Not only get that increase in the statistics, but when you ride a dinosaur print, it acquires 30% additional damage and 30% resistance to damage.

Reproduction allows you to merge statistics. For example, if you have said Rex with 37 points in the HP and 24 points in Melee and a female Rex with 31 points in the HP and 45 points in Melee, you can together and you have offspring a chance of 55% for each statistic. To roll in favour of the top statistics on children to get 37 points and 45 health fight. Note: This is not likely guaranteed, so you may need several rearing children to get the statistics that you want.

Mutation Basics

Mutations: Mutations are random and currently only provide a random statistical increase two levels higher than expected. Also usually it is combined with colour change. Can inherit Dino up to 20 for each mutation father. Ergo, dinosaurs without mutations are technically less valuable genetic.

When a mutation occurs, two things must happen:

  • The statistic changes, which means that it adds +2 levels to the total number of levels of domestication in that statistic, and
  • The colour changes.

Selection of Statistics: This is the process that determines the child from birth through statistics. Selecting a state has a 70% chance of getting the highest parent stats.

Mutation degree –This is the number that appears on your ancestral tree. This is represented by a 0/20 sign on the base and increases with simultaneous operation.

Mutation stacking: Breeding dinosaur mutant process a way that increases the chances of mutations.

Statistical mutation occurs before case selection. What this means is that one parent will change and increase statistics by + 2, before determining statistics determines whether the child has any statistics from the parents, and this allows for some ambiguous results. Basically, the parent can change the statistics by + 2, and then not broadcast this statistic in the new mutated Stat Pick.

How to get mutations? follow these steps:

  • Create some towers (if the protection of plant varieties) and control area incubating good. Oil can be a bear cave or a cave or an ice cave, caves Aberration also wonderful (smaller entrance = Best Entrance)
  • It tames a male creature (which must have the highest stats possible) and tames several females. (and don’t upgrade any of them)
  • Breed the male with the females.
  • If you get a mutation in the stat you want to increase (get 2 extra points), just swap the wild male with the mutated male (never swap wild females because it won’t work)
  • Repeat the process until you get 20 stacked mutations.
  • Cryo the full mutated male and exchange it with the wild one.
  • Stack the mutations on the other stats until you get 20 again.
  • Breed the pair of fully mutated creatures.

Some Basic tips

  • Do not generate dinosaurs for speed or inactivity. It is useless. Does not matter levels necessarily if you have better statistics.
  • Once you have a male and female to the fullest, then protect them at any price. These parents, and maybe some grandchildren, they can maintain ratios regardless of the number of ancestors who Vqdthm.
  • A male can breed with as many females as he wants. However, the more the number of couples possessed by the male, the more time it took longer until the female is ready again after hatching from an egg.

In Conclusion

Once you have a good breed system, all you need to do after that is sign up almost every day and reproduce. Then just change the breeding male each time you have a mutation. This method works, and in the end you can make God tames whatever your goals in the game. Also, don’t forget to sanitize and neuter your dinosaurs when you go out into the open world.

World of Warcraft – How Does Jewelcrafting Work?

World of Warcraft – How Does Jewelcrafting Work?

There’s so many aspects to World of Warcraft, and here’s how jewelcrafting helps.

There are many professions for you to pursue when playing World of Warcraft, some of which are more beneficial than others. Before you decide to buy WoW gold, here is how you can benefit from the art of jewelcrafting.

What is Jewelcrafting?

In world of Warcraft, Jewelcrafting is a profession that was brought in as part of The Burning Crusade expansion. You can use this profession to make a number of different objects in the game. This includes the likes of necklaces, statues, rings and trinkets. You can also use it to cut gems that can be used for socketed items. The figurines are what’s considered to be jewelcrafting only types of item, that are under the category of bind on pickup in the game. In Wrath of the Lich King, you have jewelcrafting specific gems too, which have better stats than normal gems.

Initially you could use jewelcrafting items even without the expansion. That said, it was only those who had The Burning Crusade that could then learn the actual profession. This changed with the introduction of Cataclysm, which made it available for everyone.

You can also use it to get gems out of mineral ores such as mithril, iron and so on. There’s five pieces of ore to be used with each casting of prospecting. The level and form of gems used relies on the ore that is being used as reagents by yourself.

Cutting Gems

After you have reached level 300 in the profession, you can then start learning how to cut gems that can be used for sockets. These need to be purchased from your faction’s Master Jewelcrafter. They can be found in the Hellfire Peninsula. Otherwise, you can purchase them from a number of faction vendors, though you will often need a certain level of reputation with them in order to buy the designs that you’re looking for. So if you have some spare gold lying around that you’ve been saving for WoW mounts for sale, this might be worth looking into.

Socketing Items

If you’re looking for items with sockets on them, then try looking in Northrend and Outland. You cut gems with jewelcrafters that are able to cut raw gems into jewels. After this, you can then put them into the relevant socket. This will offer bonus stats to the item that they are applied to. You can replace a socketed gem with another gem if you wish, though this will destroy the initial gem that was there.

As for gems themselves, they come in eight different colours. These include blue, green, meta, orange, purple, prismatic, red and yellow. If you have red, yellow and blue gems, which are primary colour gems, they will only fit the colour of the gem slot they’re in. Meanwhile, green, orange and purple will match any of the two slots that are relevant to their colour. The tertiary coloured gems are able to fit any slot whilst activating the slot bonus, though this doesn’t count for meta.

You have several gems to choose from that you can cut to fit into gems. Every colour has an uncommon gem, of which can be cut with the patterns that you get from quartermasters and vendors. These are learnable between the levels 300-325. There is also rare gems that can be cut to world drop designs once you have gotten jewelcrafting up to level 350.

Each colour of gem has an epic equivalent as well. To get these, you will have to use mining nodes within Mount Hyjal. You can also trade for them with badges of justic in Shattrath City. They are also obtained as drops in the Black Temple from mobs.

Using the Interface

If you want to socket your gems, then hold the shift key down and right-click on the item that has the sockets in it. You will then see a window that has sockets at the bottom of it. This is where you can drop your gems into. Once they’re in your desired sockets, you will see an option you can click on that says “Socketed Gems” on it.

Don’t worry, you won’t need to buy WoW gold to make the most of jewelcrafting either. The key is knowing the right places to get the relevant items and gear from. It is an incredibly useful profession, and something that you should certainly look into investing some time into if possible.
